Jordan Justin and the two veterans, coming face to face with each other, were caught off guard.

They instinctively froze in their tracks.
However, in the brief moment while they were identifying friend or foe, Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols had already unsheathed their military knives and swiftly drew them close, holding the blades against their throats.
"You’re done for."
Glancing at the still dumbfounded veterans, Flossie Wright declared coldly.
The next moment, the blades were sheathed again.
Exchange a glance with Belinda Nichols, they both continued to run without hesitation.
Meanwhile...
The two suddenly ’eliminated’ veterans looked at each other in disbelief, their mouths agape.
Just like that, they’d inexplicably been knocked out of the game?
They looked at each other, both seeing a sense of resignation and regret in each other’s eyes.
"Hey, did you two see any rookies passing by?"
Not too long after, three of their pursuers caught up and hurriedly asked.
One of the veterans was caught off guard by the abrupt question, and was about to speak when he got interrupted by his comrade.
"We’re already out, you guys will have to find them yourself."
The veteran beside him said in a dodgy way, refusing to reveal any clues.
Even though they’d casually decided to get involved in the mission, having been ’eliminated’, it was against the rules to reveal any information.
"Taken down?"
Other three men couldn’t believe it.
Those two rookies had managed to knock out two veterans while being chased?
Were they purposefully provoking them?
"There are stairs nearby, did they go upstairs or run somewhere else?"
Having calmed down, one of the veterans asked.
Regaining his composure, the leader amongst the pursuers pondered for a moment, then declared, "I’ll search downstairs, you two go up and look for them. We have to find them today!"
Towards the end, the voice of the veteran leader grew significantly heavier.
The other two didn’t seem too enthusiastic, but lacking any other ideas, they nodded in agreement and proceeded upstairs to search.
The two ’eliminated’ veterans stood to the side, exchanged a few glances, and then promptly walked out.
The initial sweep resulted in numerous early ’casualties’. Those who’d rushed onto the second floor left the first floor rather empty with new recruits playing hide and seek due to the presence of the veterans, very few really ventured into the corridor.
Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols entered the third office on the left of the corridor.
Accompanied by a soft creaking sound, the two of them sneaked in with utmost caution, their hidden knives always ready in their palms, and their actions suggested they could strike anytime.
"Shit, who the hell are you to be a hostage?!"
"Believe it or not, Austin Shepherd is going to destroy you later!"
Just as they entered, they heard two cursed voices followed by a sudden silence as their entrance drew the attention of the people inside.
So, they glanced around and saw two veterans who were bound together and thrown by the window, and a nonchalant soldier standing next to them with his arms crossed.
Without looking closely, Flossie Wright recognized his identity as soon as her gaze swept over him.
Rowdy Brightwill.
It was still twilight, and the room was not lit. The man standing by the window glanced towards them, his figure hidden in the dim light, and only a vague silhouette could be seen.
