She certainly did not want to be like Daniel Ramos.
After a moment of thought, Flossie Wright spoke coldly, "Put your hands behind your back."
Without any hesitation, the young pirate immediately responded.
Following that, he lowered his raised hands, slowly extending them behind his back.
However, just as his left hand moved downwards, Flossie Wright caught a glimpse of silver in his sleeve and a cold smirk appeared on her lips.
Instead of capturing him right away, Flossie Wright watched with interest, waiting for his next move.
Eventually, the silver object slid out from his sleeve, revealing itself to be a dagger for self-defense, its cold gleam flashing as it emerged.
The sound of a gunshot echoed.
The recently exposed dagger quietly slipped from his fingertips and fell to the ground with a light "clack."
Falling alongside the dagger was the young pirate standing in front of Flossie Wright.
Touching her nose, Flossie Wright glanced at him helplessly, then looked down the slope to the people below.
Standing on the trail, Sandy Cruz holstered his pistol and casually glanced up at her, saying, "Let’s go."
His expression was bland, as if he saw right through Flossie Wright’s cautious thoughts.
Shrugging her shoulders, Flossie Wright ignored the fortune-seeking young pirate and quickly leaped down the hillside, sliding down with her body tilted at an angle.
Her movements were swift and sleek.
Upon landing, Sandy Cruz tossed a sniper rifle over to her.
The sniper rifle had been hurriedly thrown down the slope by her.
Compared to having a sniper rifle drop a bit, being hit by a hand grenade would obviously cause much more damage to it.
Although it was Public House property and even if it was damaged, Flossie Wright wouldn’t have to pay, she still cherished the valuable equipment and didn’t want to see it suffer heavy damage.
Catching the sniper rifle, Flossie Wright narrowed her eyes and smiled at Sandy Cruz, "Thanks."
Sandy Cruz glanced at her indifferently, not taking up her words.
In the short span of time, the Frogmen who rushed over as "support" saw the already dealt with pirates and stopped in place, looking at each other with helplessness and a sense of defeat in their eyes.
Is it over just like that?
Did the sniper have a cheat on?!
It’s really—
Too much of a blow!
Yet, regardless of how helpless they felt inside, the Frogmen could only feel relieved that Flossie Wright was unharmed.
"Is it over?"
Having walked a while and hearing no gunshots, Flossie Wright turned her head and asked Sandy Cruz.
"Yeah," Sandy Cruz nodded, paused for a moment, and added, "Group A hasn’t reported yet, but it should be soon."
"Oh," Flossie responded.
The pirates on this island were probably almost wiped out by now, with the main issue at present being Group A.
The two locations were quite far apart, and even if they wanted to help, they likely wouldn’t be able to make it in time.
Without further thought, Flossie Wright and Sandy Cruz walked at the back of the team, waiting to regroup on the fishing boat.
After waiting for only a few minutes, updates on Group A’s battle situation came through.
Hostages had been successfully rescued, the pirate ship seized, and all pirates captured with no escapees.
Caught in one fell swoop!
And our soldiers, despite some sustaining injuries, suffered no fatalities.
This mission could be deemed a resounding success, and the handling of the captured pirates and how to deal with Daniel Ramos’s gunshot were matters unrelated to them, all to be decided by the state.
Flossie Wright was too lazy to care.
The mission ended in the morning, and by the afternoon, the Frogmen had returned to Base.
