"Damn it! The entire Blue army is out!"
"Who stepped on the trap mine, do you not have a brain?!"
"It was so well hidden, how could I have known?!"
"Enough arguing, the Blue army is charging out, do we fight back or run away, make a decision!"
Just within the one or two seconds that Flossie Wright was reloading, those below — dead or alive from the bombings — started to holler. Two of them had died, and the remaining three, after a final shout, began to discuss the heroic idea of "whether to rush up to their deaths or not". However, their discussion was broken off by someone who had stepped on the mine —
"Damn, that mysterious sniper has shown up again!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the one shouting was pushed aside by the others, whereupon they all began scanning their surroundings instinctively. However, they saw nothing but the Blue army soldiers rushing out from their stronghold.
For the remaining three, the existence of the sniper seemed to give them some sort of courage. They firmly raised their Type 95 rifles, instantly discarding their previous thoughts of running away. They began to sweep the incoming Blue soldiers with fire and started searching for hiding places. However, the gathering Blue soldiers didn’t grant them any chance to stick their heads out, and in an instant, two more were eliminated.
The foolish actions of these new recruits made Flossie Wright want to curse.
Yet, despite it all, she had to refocus her sniper rifle and provide coverage for the waves of Blue soldiers. Her aim was exceedingly accurate; every bullet fired would result in an enemy soldier being put down. Her impeccable shooting skills made the Blue soldiers somewhat cautious, thus, reducing the gunfire dramatically.
Meanwhile, Calvin Ramos, who was fully prepared, didn’t hesitate to run to a nearby hideout. He slid down the grass to hide behind a large tree, and in an instant, he had his firearm in his hands, firing at the Blue soldiers approaching from the outskirts without any major aiming.
Considering the tremendous commotion in the area, any further approach was impossible. Their best bet was to attract more fire from the Blue army and deplete their rear forces, hence, creating more opportunities for Becca Reyes and Stuart Weston. This would enhance their chances of winning.
However, the Blue army’s fire was much more intense than he anticipated. With an exponential increase of personnel and weapons within just two minutes, they started to bombard Calvin’s position with grenades. Their primary objective was not to hit Calvin, but rather, on a whim, to hit the sniper hidden somewhere in the dark. Yet the soldiers who were fiercest with their fire often found themselves being dealt with by Flossie Wright first, forcefully reducing the Blue army’s fire.
"Boom, boom, boom -"
As expected, an earth-shattering explosion sounded through the camp.
In panic, everyone turned to look back, only to see flames soaring into the sky, as if lighting up the entire horizon.
The Blue army personnel were collectively stunned as if they had not yet realized why a sudden explosion occurred behind them.
While taking in this spectacular sight, Flossie Wright silently put her gun away. Then, under everyone’s alarming gaze, she stealthily retreated backward. Meanwhile, Calvin Ramos, who was hiding behind a tree, threw his last explosive package forward. As the rest saw this, they hurriedly pushed through, and he made a quick escape to the back. Stones and soil flew about from the aftermath of the explosion, but he managed to escape unscathed amidst this violent impact.
The sudden incident left not only the Blue army personnel, but even the Red team recruits who had been killed, without any reaction. Stunned, they watched the sudden explosion and tried to escape to safer ground. In the end, they unintentionally stepped on trap mines, falling head over heels, becoming even more pitiful. No matter how much they admired the hidden sniper, they could only curse in their hearts!
What the hell is going on?
Even their own people got blasted!

For god’s sake, getting any closer really could kill someone, okay?!
The surviving members of the Blue army, having lost their stronghold, seemed to have gone mad, looking for whoever was responsible for the explosion. Becca Reyes and Stuart Weston had "sacrificed" themselves within the range of the explosion. With explosives in front and a cliff behind, they had no way out.
Flossie Wright and Calvin Ramos did not stop all night. On the getaway road, they were encountering gods and slaughtering gods, encountering Buddha and slaughtering Buddha. There was no defense or hiding; as soon as they saw the scattering Blue soldiers, they would eliminate them at the fastest speed. In the middle of their retreat, Flossie Wright intentionally parted ways with Calvin Ramos.
Until the sun came up the next day, Austin Shepherd announced through the frequency that the exercise was over.
It was over.
Sitting on the beach rocks, Flossie Wright watched the orange sun rise from the horizon. Hearing the intermittent electric current from her earpiece, she heard Austin Shepherd’s voice filled with relief.
For some reason, she too, let out a sigh of relief.
"Flossie Wright?"
Her earpiece suddenly connected to a separate channel, and Austin Shepherd’s voice once again sounded in her ear.
Touching the earpiece, Flossie Wright responded, "Hmm."
"Wait there. A helicopter will be coming to pick you up soon."
Confused, Flossie asked.
Austin Shepherd paused for a moment before speaking, his tone heavy, "The Brigadier wants to see you."
