"The broom is in the hallway." Flossie Wright stated indifferently.
Liu Becca Reyes opened her mouth but was confused.
"Sweep the floor."
Reverting her gaze, Flossie pointed to the floor behind her.
Becca Reyes was speechless.
The dormitory they had just moved into had been cleaned beforehand, with fairly clean floors and walls.
There really was no need to clean.
But Becca Reyes, truly bored to the extreme, still honestly went to the hallway and helped them clean the dormitory.
Although it was a four-person dorm, the five of them had gotten used to living together, and nobody felt awkward even with Becca Reyes wandering back and forth in the dormitory.
The group of four went about their own business.
However, Becca Reyes proved to be hardworking, as she had just cleaned their dormitory and then ran to the neighboring Dormitory 308, sweeping it inside and out.
Becca Reyes spent the entire afternoon "working," and the two veteran soldiers in Dormitory 308 were left with a lasting impression of her.
Nancy Phillips notified everyone to gather at the dormitory building on time, regardless of veteran soldiers or new recruits.
This social gathering included both male and female soldiers, which made it more lively; since it was to welcome new recruits, they naturally gathered all the newcomers together.
Everybody assembled on the sports field.
A few barbecues were arranged in a circle; they grouped around them, with Austin Shepherd acting as the temporary host, occasionally providing some light-hearted celebratory entertainment.
It didn’t take long for the whole sports field to become boisterous and incredibly lively.

From the side of one barbecue, a series of scolding voices suddenly arose.
"Flossie Wright, did you grill this?"
"Can this even be eaten?"
"I’m begging you, please don’t waste food. Just go eat the well-cooked ones over there."
"Oh my goodness, aren’t you a trained cook? How come you can’t even grill meat properly?"
"Hey, you’d better not let Squad Leader Lin find out about this, or you’ll have dishonored the entire cooking class."
Flossie Wright, who had become the target of everyone’s criticism, glanced at the charred skewered meat in her plate, and her face darkened slightly.
It wasn’t really her fault, though.
She had mentioned earlier that she wasn’t good at cooking, but a few veteran soldiers, thinking she was just being modest because of her background in the cooking class, had insisted she grill.
The outcome was predictable.
"Flossie, come over to our side."
While she was still wondering, Rowdy Brightwill suddenly appeared beside her and invited Flossie Wright.
"Eh, Rowdy Brightwill, are you trying to poach someone?"
"Come on, give us a smile, and maybe we’ll let you off the hook."
"Rowdy, some say you’ve set your eyes on a new recruit. We didn’t believe it, but we didn’t expect... is our male god switching targets again?!"
No sooner had Rowdy Brightwill appeared than a few bold female soldiers who were familiar with him surrounded him.
Comrade Rowdy beat a hasty retreat.
And so, Flossie Wright’s chance to slip away was cut off.
But it was the same wherever she went; she was just "sent" to rest somewhere outside, taking advantage of the opportunity not to busy herself around the grill, enjoying her leisure.
Just as she finished her skewered meat, another one unexpectedly appeared in front of her.

"You’re not eating?" Flossie took the skewered meat and asked with raised eyebrows.
"It’s mediocre."
Mediocre, and you’re giving it to me?!
