Nathan Foster looked at Flossie Wright, who walked through the door, his mouth twitching slightly in surprise and confusion as he turned to Calvin Ramos, the only one in the room who knew what was going on.
"This is the Red Team’s base," Calvin Ramos carefully began, "When we returned to land and needed a place to rest, we found that it had been seized by the Blue Team, and so these two took it back."
Nathan Foster frowned in disbelief, "Just the two of them took on how many of the Blue Team?"
Anyone posted at a location like this would have at least ten people. If they had to face the Red Team, surely the Blue Team would rally more soldiers and their overall skill would be superior. Hell, Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie Wright took them all by themselves?!
What the hell was going on?
After some second thought, Calvin Ramos added, "A six-person squad."
The truth was, he was not intentionally inactive but the unspoken camaraderie between Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie Wright was in sync—by the time he had reacted, the pair had already barged in. By the time he got inside, all the Blue Team soldiers were already dispatched by these two.
The entire process took about half a minute.
"That’s Captain Hutchinson for you."
Becca Reyes touched her chin thoughtfully before quickening her pace and sauntering into the log cabin.
Meanwhile, hearing one extraordinary feat after another, Stuart Weston attributed all the successes to Glenn Hutchinson. After all, in his view, Calvin Ramos and Flossie Wright both were new recruits. Even if they were skilled, they could not have possibly pulled off such miraculous feats. Thus, without a doubt, the merits all attributed to the mysterious team’s captain, Glenn Hutchinson.
Stuart Weston, who already admired Glenn Hutchinson, had after this incident completely fallen in awe of Glenn, considering him a role model for his military journey.
"Let’s get inside."
With a blink to suppress his shock, Nathan Foster adopted his previous serious expression and gave an order before leading the way into the cabin.
The atmosphere inside was much different—warm and lively, compared to the grim quiet outside. The defeated Red Team soldiers gathered at a round table filled with snacks, using water instead of liquor to celebrate an apparent victory. It was hard to believe considering there were bound captive Blue Team soldiers lying in the corner.
"Did we enter the wrong place?"
Even Stuart Weston, who adapted quickly to surroundings, was taken aback by the sight of over a dozen soldiers chatting away. He approached Calvin Ramos, his face etched with a look of disbelief.
However, such lively ambiance, given how many people were there, was not uncommon. Considering they had already been ’killed’ in the exercise, it was a relief that they did not have to worry about drills anymore. Plus, the Blue Team who ambushed them were either ’killed’ or captured, it made sense that the Red Team was rejoicing.
Suddenly, a heartrending scream echoed from inside the cabin, "Ah... I’ll talk, I’ll talk! I’ll say everything!"
At the same time, they realized that Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie Wright were missing, and only five Blue Team soldiers were left in the corner.
Cold chills ran down Nathan Foster’s spine. Just then, a horrifying thought crossed his mind — the two of them weren’t torturing the soldiers, were they?!
