By mid-December, they had soaked in the frigid seawater, so you can imagine just how cold it was now.
Even bodies of iron would retain at least the most basic senses.
"Sigh," Willie Ash let out a long sigh, grumbling boredly, "When will those two finish up."
"Could be quick, could be slow," Joshua Bailey glanced at him, then shrugged his shoulders, "It’s up to them."
If one of them wanted to engage in guerrilla warfare and temporarily hide, then it would be miserable.
The island wasn’t huge, but it was still no problem for either of them to conceal themselves.
If someone was really skilled, they could even hide until the exercise ended.
"As for Chandra, he definitely doesn’t want to drag this out," Willie mused aloud, then thought for a bit, "Based on my understanding of Flossie Wright, if she wanted to evade, she probably could manage to do so. But, she shouldn’t be so lacking in fighting spirit."
"Who knows."
Joshua Bailey casually took up the conversation.
None of them understood Flossie Wright, who knew what she was thinking?
What if she backed down?
No one could say for certain.
The two others beside them didn’t speak, reserving their opinions.
"Right, should we report the situation to the Captain now?" The bored Willie suddenly suggested to them.
"Let’s wait a bit longer." Derek Moore looked up at him with a serious expression, "We’ll talk after the result is out."
"Fine then."
Facing the always-serious Derek Moore, Willie immediately cowered and didn’t dare to oppose his proposal.
As a new recruit among veteran soldiers, Willie could only stand his ground in last year’s batch of recruits; in front of this series of veterans, he had no choice but to obediently listen.
There was nothing he could do, they could subdue him with just one hand.

Willie had a natural admiration for the strong, facing each of them possessing unique skills, he naturally felt a bit of fear in his heart.
Sighing, Willie sat cross-legged on the sand, grabbing handfuls of it, planning to pile up some random things to pass the time.
Just as he scooped up some damp sand, Joshua Bailey suddenly arched an eyebrow and said to them, "No need to wait anymore, they’re coming."
In a flash, everyone looked up and followed Joshua Bailey’s gaze in another direction.
A figure was walking towards them.
It was their group’s sniper, Chandra Milton.
"We’re doomed, we’re doomed, we’re doomed."
Upon seeing the figure, Willie muttered in his heart.
With only him coming and no sign of Flossie, coupled with his grave stride, Willie’s first instinct was—
At that moment, Willie’s mood was just... crap.
Their little group had really lost miserably!
Five people, not even able to overcome one sniper?!
As Chandra approached closer, the moonlight fell on him, clearly illuminating his facial contours.
The firm lines, the tightly furrowed brows, everywhere was infused with a somber aura.
"You lost?"
As he came over, Joshua Bailey raised his eyebrows and voiced everyone’s doubt.
Chandra halted, looked down at them for a moment, and then with a stern face, he nodded, "Yeah."
"Fuck." The curse slipped out, and Willie incredulously stared at him, then continued, "For real?"
