This was a pure weapon confrontation, testing only their proficiency with the equipment. A newly emerged howitzer, under the crazed leadership of Willie Ash, was utterly smashed with assault rifles and missiles, while the vanguard and assault soldiers in the lead, one by one, shot like they were out of their minds. After dragging people out one by one, they unleashed a barrage of bullets on corpses, as if they wouldn’t stop until their anger was vented.
Seeing this group of people turning into madmen under Willie Ash’s leadership, Jude Marsh cursed with a dark expression.
Amidst the surge of fury, Sandy Cruz brought good news.
"There’s news about Dallion Collins." Sandy Cruz’s voice, through the earpiece, reached Jude Marsh’s ear.
"How is it?" Jude Marsh asked with a strict face, his tightly furrowed brows relaxing a bit.
"I’m fine," Dallion Collins’s voice still carried a hint of gasping. After a two-second pause, the voice became much calmer, "I ran fast."
A moment later, Jude Marsh continued to ask, "How about Flossie Wright?"
"No news." Sandy Cruz answered word by word, with no discernible emotion in the voice.
"Keep searching." Jude Marsh’s voice deepened, with his brows tightly knitted.
"Don’t bother," Dallion Collins directly interrupted him, "I’ve already looked, didn’t see Flossie Wright."
"Nothing?" This time, Sandy Cruz asked first.
"Nothing, not even a body, checked within fifty meters around." By the end, Dallion Collins’s voice grew slightly somber.
At least, they hadn’t directly found Flossie Wright’s body.
That was already tremendously good news.
None of them could be happy, including all the Brother Aaron combatants who were still fighting but heard their conversation. Honestly, not even the slightest sense of relief.
The sister-in-law is missing...
How will they explain this to the Captain?!

How can they explain this?!
The channel fell silent, and nobody continued to speak, but Sandy Cruz kept fiddling with the communication devices, even if it was to get a bit of signal.
On the other side.
On a relatively flat ground.
A completely different confrontation was taking place, yet in almost the exact same scene.
With nearly double the attack power, both sides wielded equivalent heavy weaponry. The chaotic gunfire was covered by the sounds of explosions, with flames soaring and smoke filling the air.
They hid, concealed, attacked, repeating over and over, cycling again and again until they were wounded to the point of incapacity, or death.
The bullets from the assault rifles swept over in rows, and Belinda Nichols tightly gripped the assault rifle in front of her, flipping over to the mound of earth not far behind. But the bullets were too dense, and despite her speed, she got hit.
A sharp pain shot through her shoulder, causing Belinda Nichols to frown instantly in pain, dazed for a few seconds. When she gritted her teeth to recover and was about to pick up the gun, she seemed to hear explosion sounds from afar.
Faintly discernible, amid the loud explosion sounds around her, it was rare to hear clearly.
She wanted to grab the gun, but for some reason, her heart tightened.
For some reason, she had a bad premonition in her heart.
Half-crouching, there was a flash of confusion in her cool eyes, but when she saw Rowdy Brightwill dodging not far away, her expression suddenly became clear.
The heavy machine gun was lifted by her right hand, Belinda Nichols slightly rose, intending to continue attacking, but before she could aim, she saw a missile targeting—
Rowdy Brightwill!
