A cold voice, without a trace of warmth.
After a slight pause, Flossie Wright turned her head back to look at the person behind her.
Sandy Cruz, dressed in training gear, stood behind her.
It seemed like he had just finished a shower, his hair damp, and his young, handsome face was cast in a faint halo, angular and attractive, yet marked with a touch of cool arrogance.
"Am I in the way?"
Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow, taking a step to the side.
Of course, she knew that Calvin Ramos and Sandy Cruz lived in the same dormitory for convenience.
Just like she did with Jessie Grain.
However, the former was intentional, while the latter was accidental.
"Come here."
With a slight frown, Sandy Cruz grabbed her arm and dragged her toward the staircase.
Caught unprepared, Flossie walked with him a few steps, thinking it was no big deal, so she didn’t struggle and followed his pace down the stairs.
It wasn’t until they had left the dormitory building and walked to a corner edge that Sandy Cruz stopped and at the same time let go of Flossie Wright.
"What’s up?"
She raised her hand, patting her arm. Flossie Wright didn’t even frown, asking as if in a daze.

With both hands in his pockets, Sandy Cruz looked down at her from above, opening with indifference, "Collaboration."
"Now?" Flossie Wright tilted her head slightly.
Being pulled over by him, she had mentally prepared that he was coming for Mariana Buck.
But considering his cold and arrogant nature, the fact that he took the initiative to speak to Flossie Wright showed the depth of his intent.
"Tell me," Sandy Cruz said indifferently, "how you can help me."
Raising her finger to her chin, Flossie thought for a moment before asking, "Does she have feelings for you?"
His voice chilled as he frowned, "I don’t know."
"You don’t know?"
"Mhm." He responded faintly, his face darkening a bit more.
"Alright, then. I’ll help you test her," Flossie said with a laugh, nodding and cutting straight to the point, "Twenty minutes until lights out, copy your notes and send them over, okay?"
He gave her a glance, withdrawing his interest, and turned to walk back to the dormitory building.
There was absolutely no tacit understanding between them.
Flossie Wright grumbled to herself, reluctantly calling out to him, "We’re in the same dormitory."
His footsteps paused slightly.
Turning around, Sandy Cruz frowned and asked, "You want her to misunderstand?"
Clearly, his emotional intelligence wasn’t low either.
Flossie Wright spread her hands, as if to agree.
"Go back and wait."
Sandy Cruz instructed coldly, which was a roundabout way of agreeing.
After that, he lifted his long legs and headed straight to the dormitory building.
Her mouth twitching slightly, Flossie Wright didn’t know what else to say.
She guessed even the boss wasn’t as arrogant as him.
With a furrowed brow, Flossie Wright, burdened with a mission, walked heavily toward the dormitory across the way.
Back in Dormitory 105.
Flossie Wright had to wait for Sandy Cruz and, finding time heavy on her hands before lights out, took a bottle of safflower oil from the cupboard to rub on the bruises on her body.
In training, no matter how skilled you are, bumps and knocks are inevitable. Recent sparring with Mariana Buck was evenly matched, and they both racked up their fair share of bruises.
Old injuries had just healed, and new ones had been added.
Flossie Wright usually found it bothersome; aside from injuries that affected training, she ignored all others.
But for now—
She might as well pass the time.
There were four of them in the dormitory, including Flossie: Mariana Buck, Jessie Grain, Belinda Nichols. Jocelyn Carrington and Becca Reyes had probably gone to shower.
