He looked at her with a face full of smiles.
He sat in the passenger seat, while someone else was driving the car.
"Want to share a ride to Arlington City?"
Lucas Cook asked her with a cheerful smile.
"How much?" Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow.
"Two hundred."
Lucas held up two fingers towards her.
A shameless asking price.
But, Flossie Wright didn’t hesitate and agreed directly, "Deal."
Immediately, Lucas beamed widely and pointed to the back seat, "Welcome aboard."
Giving him a sidelong glance, Flossie Wright walked to the back and then opened the car door to get in.
The taxi gradually moved forward, quickly disappearing into the traffic.
The man in black, who had been tailing them, stepped out from his hidden spot, looking rather helpless as he watched the taxi leave.
Thankfully, there’s a tracking device.
Otherwise, they would’ve truly lost track of her.
However, compared to other students, she really seems like she’s on a cheat mode.
Everything she does goes off without a hitch.

They spent an hour on the highway.
Around one in the afternoon, the taxi stopped in the bustling Arlington City.
Not going directly to the Military Academy was Flossie Wright’s instruction.
The time was still early; she wasn’t in a hurry to go to the academy, and she could take a walk nearby to get familiar with the area.
Of course, most importantly—
She needed to give the one tracking her a chance.
From the taxi, Lucas poked his head out, waving at Flossie Wright.
In his hand, he shamelessly dangled two red banknotes.
These were what he had "extorted" from Flossie Wright.
Flossie Wright gave him a nonchalant glance, put her hands in her pockets, and then strolled away leisurely.
Lucas hadn’t treated her badly; at least he helped solve her lunch on the road, and that meal alone was enough to cover this ride.
So, regarding Lucas’ irritating demeanor, Flossie Wright just acted like she didn’t see it.
Pedestrians crowded the street, with two universities nearby, so everywhere she looked, it was basically students a few years younger than her.
The privilege of youth is having no cares, acting boldly.
Flossie Wright walked slowly down the street, occasionally overhearing students complaining, or talking about some handsome guy by the roadside, their lives, emotions, and studies encompassing everything for them.
Even students from the Military Academy were pretty much the same, with nothing special.
Like this, she wandered around for an hour.
What she had been waiting for happened.
As she walked past an alley, Flossie Wright intentionally paused for a moment, sure enough, she soon heard a cry for help—
"Help me—"
So, Flossie Wright looked in the direction of the sound.
In the alley, she saw a man with a knife approaching a girl who looked like a student.
So obvious, so clichéd, so pretentious—
Ugh, a robbery drama.
Flossie Wright rubbed her forehead; if they went to act, neither would probably get paid.
She leisurely watched from the side, planning to step in, but just as she took a step, she saw a figure flash past her and dart straight towards the "robber"!
Her footstep paused slightly.
Flossie Wright squinted her eyes, noticing that familiar-looking back as it darted past, inexplicably finding it a bit familiar.
Judging by the clothes and the back, it was a girl.
The person rushed forward, leaping up, delivering a flying kick towards the "robber"!
The "robber" turned around, caught off guard by the unfamiliar figure, but quickly reacted, raising a hand to block. Under the powerful kick, he was forced back several steps, but luckily wasn’t injured.
