"What’s wrong?"
Leaning against the wall, Rowdy Brightwill pressed his forearms, inexplicably staring at her.
"Nancy Phillips is interested in you, do you know that?" Without any idle chat, Flossie Wright asked him directly.
Mentioning this, Flossie Wright couldn’t help but feel a headache.
She didn’t want to get involved with Rowdy Brightwill and Nancy Phillips, but seeing Rowdy Brightwill’s foolish appearance, after thinking it over, she still couldn’t help but to clarify things to Rowdy Brightwill.
The sudden news made Rowdy Brightwill stare with surprise.
Nancy Phillips...?
For a moment, Rowdy Brightwill felt as if thunder was rolling in the sky, as though he had heard something unbelievable.
Many people had been interested in him, and he had received countless love letters since he was little. Rowdy Brightwill naturally knew about this.
Nancy Phillips, that tomboy?
Rowdy Brightwill was immediately dumbfounded.
"You heard me right," Flossie Wright shrugged her shoulders, "If you want to have a good relationship with her, remember to be careful with your boundaries, that’s all."
After finishing her brief statement, Flossie Wright turned to leave.
However, having received the news from her, Rowdy Brightwill couldn’t just let her walk away so easily. Recovering slightly, he grabbed Flossie Wright’s shoulder, stopping her from leaving.
Flossie Wright paused, turning slightly to look at him.
"You want me to take a moment."
Taking a deep breath, Rowdy Brightwill spoke in a low voice.
One second, two seconds, three seconds.
Rowdy Brightwill looked up again, and the previous astonishment had disappeared without a trace.
"If it’s really as you say, I will make things clear with her, and I will be careful around her after that," Rowdy Brightwill articulated slowly, his words carrying an assurance to Flossie Wright.
Frowning, Flossie Wright avoided his gaze and spoke indifferently, "I’ll be going now."
Taking a step forward, Rowdy Brightwill called her.
She interrupted him abruptly before he could say anything more.
Containing his emotions, Rowdy Brightwill maintained his composure.
"I want to make it clear to you too," turning around, Flossie Wright faced him, speaking calmly, "I see you as a friend, nothing more beyond that."
His hands hanging by his sides clenched suddenly, as Rowdy Brightwill stared intensely at her.
Not wanting to say more, Flossie Wright waved her hand and walked away toward the side, leaving down the stairs.

Rowdy Brightwill watched her until she disappeared around the corner.
He could now understand what Flossie Wright’s feelings for him were like.
Just like his feelings for Nancy Phillips.
Flossie Wright couldn’t accept him, just as he couldn’t accept Nancy Phillips. Feelings don’t just come on demand, nor can they be forced.
Since the last time he was rejected, Rowdy Brightwill had grown accustomed to this helplessness.
Yet, truly liking someone meant that no matter how she treated you, you still wanted to be good to her.
He stood there for a long time.
Rowdy Brightwill let his emotions settle.
Then, he left.
Flossie Wright didn’t take advantage of the time to train but instead grabbed a couple of Steamed Buns from the cooking class and went straight back to the Dormitory.
She had Steamed Buns for lunch, and with some time left in the morning, she decided to get some sleep first.
After all, she feared that she wouldn’t have any peaceful sleep for the coming month.
One o’clock in the afternoon.
The whistle sounded below the Dormitory.
Flossie Wright quickly got dressed, and immediately ran down to assemble.
Jessie Grain was already standing erect.
