Originally, Joshua Bailey had no reason to wait at the door specifically for them.
However, now that he was waiting, it seemed quite odd.
A single mention of "Glenn Hutchinson" made this quite obvious.
Evidently—
Joshua Bailey had no intention of concealing it forcefully and seemed purposely to hint something to her.
"Second floor," Joshua Bailey pointed to the building behind him, mysteriously, "Go see for yourself."
Flossie Wright then withdrew her gaze.
She walked straight into the building behind him.
Belinda Nichols paused, looked at Joshua Bailey, and asked, "Is it related to her?"
"A little bit."
After a moment’s thought, Joshua Bailey replied.
Belinda frowned as she pondered, her expression growing colder, but she eventually followed Flossie Wright’s steps.
Watching the two leave, Joshua Bailey finally breathed a sigh of relief.
He hoped Flossie Wright’s appearance could change the current tense situation.
It was obvious he was still a step too late after waiting all morning.
When Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols reached the second floor, the door of the temporary Conference Room coincidentally opened.
Four armed Soldiers stood at the front and back doors, vigilant, and besides that, there were four people not in military uniform, one of whom Flossie Wright recognized.
Ailin Miller.
An alluring beauty.
Before she could look at her, Flossie Wright saw two people walking out from the front door one after another.
Both were extremely familiar to her.
In front was Perry Reed in a black trench coat, followed by Glenn Hutchinson in camouflage military attire.
Both wore equally sullen expressions, their frowns almost identical.
Sure enough—
Perry Reed had come after all.
Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow, eager to know what unspeakable events had transpired between them.
Upon seeing Flossie Wright, Perry Reed’s brows relaxed, a subtly meaningful smile played on his lips, and the deep, low call successfully made Glenn Hutchinson, who came out from behind, wear a cold expression.
Glenn Hutchinson cast a cold glance at Perry Reed.
Perry Reed completely ignored it.
Raising his long legs, he walked directly toward Flossie Wright.
Flossie Wright squinted, scrutinizing him with some doubt, then noticed Glenn Hutchinson’s growing sullen expression, deepening her doubts.
Approaching Flossie Wright, Perry Reed ignored Belinda Nichols beside her, his eyes fixed solely on Flossie Wright.
"Yes," Flossie Wright responded perfunctorily with a nod.
Undeniably, from the moment she woke up in the morning, she had been thinking about Perry Reed.
She couldn’t predict what Perry Reed might do.
If not well managed, Perry Reed might go overboard at any time.
Right now, with Perry Reed and Glenn Hutchinson not at the point of physical confrontation, it wasn’t considered excessive, but Flossie Wright instinctively sensed something amiss.
"Will you be happy if I stay here with you from now on?"
His fingers almost flirtatiously stroked Flossie Wright’s chin, Perry Reed slightly lowered his head as he enunciated each word, displaying a wickedly flamboyant expression, his eyes seemingly reaching into the depths of Flossie Wright’s eyes.
Flossie Wright was about to raise her hand to pull this guy away when out of the corner of her eye she saw a hand reaching over, extending towards Perry Reed’s shoulder first!
At the moment Perry Reed sensed it, he slightly turned his body, and as he moved aside, Flossie Wright’s view widened, instantly seeing a sullen-faced Glenn Hutchinson standing behind, ready to erupt.
