"Sister," after saying this, Flynn Reid’s eyes darted around, then he leaned a little closer to Flossie Wright and asked expectantly, "Can I call you ’Mom’?"
Without much thought, Flossie Wright promptly refused.
"Why?" Flynn Reid was immediately disappointed.
"Figure it out yourself."
Flossie Wright tossed the question back at him.
She hadn’t quite planned to suddenly get an extra son.
Flynn Reid pouted with frustration, thinking to himself, Dad, this is as far as I can help you.
Finally, Flynn Reid smiled at Flossie Wright, "Let’s go with Auntie Wright."
Flossie Wright responded.
Just like that, the two casually settled on the address.
As for Glenn Hutchinson, after finishing cooking and coming out, he heard Flynn Reid’s reserved address and subtle attempts to please Flossie Wright, but Glenn Hutchinson didn’t pursue the matter further.
Today was Wednesday, and Flossie Wright barely had a day off, with training scheduled for tomorrow.
However, after dining with Flynn Reid, both Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie Wright lingered instead of leaving immediately. They played with Flynn until around ten at night, coaxing him to bed before tiptoeing away.
"Where to?"
On the road, Glenn Hutchinson asked Flossie Wright while driving.
A little stunned, she immediately understood Glenn Hutchinson’s implication and straightforwardly replied, "Dormitory."
Glenn Hutchinson’s eyebrows twitched slightly, he gave her a glance but remained silent.
However, he dutifully drove Flossie Wright back to the dormitory.
At this hour, the lights were still on.
The dormitory building was brightly lit.
Flossie Wright got out of the car.
With the door not shut, Flossie Wright turned her head and raised an eyebrow at Glenn Hutchinson.
Glenn Hutchinson turned his head to look at her.
"Is this training every day?"
"What else?" Glenn Hutchinson countered.
The tasks required of them were indeed not much.
Besides training, there was nothing much else to do every day.
"What’s the captain supposed to do?" After a brief pause, Flossie Wright continued to ask.
She wasn’t particularly concerned about real combat.
After all, this already stable country didn’t require so many hidden battles.
What she cared about was how to do her job well.
"Observe them," Glenn Hutchinson paused to think before continuing, "Determine what positions they’d be more suitable for in an actual battlefield, and also check on their psychological states."
"Oh, thanks."
Nodding, Flossie Wright acknowledged the advice and then closed the car door.
She walked away steadily.
Flossie Wright walked directly upstairs.

Glenn Hutchinson watched her back until her figure vanished at the dormitory entrance, then he slowly averted his eyes.
He drove off, made a U-turn.
Flossie Wright arrived at Dorm 401.
The door was ajar, the light inside was on, it seemed Belinda Nichols was already back.
Just as she was about to push the door open, she heard a sneeze.
"Here, this is food, this is a drink, and here are the external medications. The instructions are on the box, remember to take them on time," soon after, Rowdy Brightwill’s typically warm-hearted voice followed, accompanied by a moment’s pause and a hesitant inquiry, "You’re not going to be picky with medicine too, are you?"
Belinda Nichols didn’t respond.
