"Get down."
Flossie Wright gave her a faint glance.
Without further movement, Flossie stood by the side of the bed, waiting for Becca Reyes’ next move.
Pursing her lips, Becca looked up, meeting Flossie’s narrow eyes.
Dark, calm, mysterious.
Bottomless.
Even if she had been in contact with Flossie for so long, Becca could not guess what Flossie wanted to do under such circumstances.
Without hesitating for too long, Becca got off the bed as told, put on her shoes in a minute, then straightened her body and stood in front of Flossie.
"Good," Flossie’s countenance remained unchanged, "Follow me out."
Having said that, she turned around and walked out of the door.
Becca paused for a moment, then hurriedly followed her.
The door was left open, and the figures of the two vanished one after another at the doorway, instantly dissipating the tension in the dormitory.
"What...is going on?" Jocelyn Carrington unconsciously looked at Belinda Nichols, licked her lips, and finally hesitated, "Are they quarreling?"
Belinda gave her a cool glance.
"I don’t know."
She responded tersely and indifferently.
Jocelyn Carrington’s eyes flickered slightly.
To be honest, she was quite unaccustomed to the sudden response from Belinda.
Flossie kept walking until she stopped in front of the blackboard downstairs.
Of course, Becca could only stop by her side.
"What do you want to say?"
Turning her head to look at Flossie’s profile, Becca asked in confusion.
Turning slightly, Flossie stared at her and asked word by word, "Do you want to hit him?"
A bit puzzled.
Flossie kept her gaze on her.
After hesitation of a few seconds, Becca suddenly understood Flossie’s meaning. Her face turned slightly red and stammered, "No, that’s not necessary."
"Your decision."
Flossie looked at her with a somewhat cool voice.
Suddenly falling into silence.
Becca lowered her head slightly, not wanting to meet her eyes again.
A light was still shining near the blackboard, brighter than the sky, the soft orange light scattering on her, aiming to highlight her blushing face even more.
She was frowning, as if she was troubled and thinking.
After a long while, she finally lifted her head.
"I don’t think it’s necessary to tell you everything."
Looking directly into Flossie’s eyes, Becca’s face returned to its calm state, and she spoke clearly. There was a determined look in her eyes.
Every single word fell into Flossie’s ears.
She was rejecting Flossie.
It could be said that she didn’t want Flossie to interfere with her affairs.
After exchanging glances with her, Flossie nodded slightly as usual without any hesitation.
Noticing a frown, Becca looked puzzled.
"Let me tell you what I think." Flossie spoke in a calm tone without any alienation, "You liking him was a gamble from the start. I don’t know what his intentions are, but I do know that you can’t compete with him and you’ll only be played for a fool."
Pausing for a moment, Flossie softened her gaze. "You can ignore everything for him, or you can stop letting him influence you. How to choose, it’s up to you."
As her words faded,
Flossie turned around and headed for the playground.
She only said what she wanted to say.
As for what Becca thinks, and how she views her, it has nothing to do with her.
Looking at her retreating figure, Becca opened her mouth, but her voice faded away quickly.
