Leaning slightly forward, Becca Reyes saw a familiar name and raised her eyebrows suggestively at her.
Flossie Wright didn’t look at her.
With her phone in hand, she walked towards the door.
Originally curious, Becca Reyes could only suppress her curiosity and watch her leave from afar.
Once she left the corridor, Flossie Wright answered the call.
"What’s up?"
As soon as she brought the phone to her ear, Flossie Wright spoke in a cold tone.
"..." Glenn Hutchinson fell silent for a moment, then said, "Nothing."
"Then I’m hanging up."
Frowning, Flossie Wright was about to end the call.
"Flossie Wright!"
On the other end of the phone, the voice came through somewhat heavily, tinged with annoyance.
Flossie Wright paused her movements, her brow furrowed slightly, as if wondering whether to let him continue speaking.
"Go ahead."
After thinking it over, she said.
A moment later, Glenn asked, "Resting?"
With her left hand in her pocket, Flossie Wright tilted her head back to gaze at the expansive blue sky.
This was the first of June.
The weather was getting hotter.
"Have you been to the women’s team yet?" Glenn Hutchinson’s tone was somewhat heavy.
After a brief pause, Glenn asked another question, "Want to be a sniper?"
Flossie Wright agreed.
To her, this wasn’t strange at all, since Bard Walker had given her books on sniping, so it wouldn’t be odd for Glenn Hutchinson to know her intention.
"Any particular reason?"
"Quite interested in it."
Flossie Wright told the truth.
There was nothing she felt the need to hide.
She had been interested in sniping before, learned the basics, but her interests were broad and her time was limited. After learning a bit, she moved on to other things. After all, they had snipers in the Mercenary Corps, and she didn’t need to be a professional.
Naturally, she hadn’t studied it systematically.
In this Forces, the only skill that could captivate her interest was sniping.
She had always intended to learn something she wanted.
Otherwise, there was no point in staying.
Glenn Hutchinson was versatile; he could take on any role in an operation team, so he was also a good sniper.
However, after Glenn Hutchinson spoke with her for a few minutes about sniping, he changed the subject.
All the topics were brought up by Glenn Hutchinson, and Flossie Wright was just responsible for answering, without particularly warm enthusiasm.
Yet, when she hung up, she was surprised to find they had talked for nearly half an hour.
Flossie Wright knit her brows in perplexity.
She didn’t think too much of it, put her phone away, turned around, and thought about heading back.
"Flossie Wright."
Just as she was about to leave, she heard a cool voice behind her.
She stopped in her tracks and turned her head, looking back.
She saw Sandy Cruz coming from the opposite dormitory building.
Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow.
It was rare to see Sandy Cruz coming to find her.
"What’s up?"
Flossie Wright asked.
With his voice, a dagger was tossed from his hand.
Flossie Wright instinctively reached out to catch it.
"For Erina Taylor?"
Examining the dagger, Flossie Wright asked without thinking.
Answering indifferently, Sandy Cruz looked at her.
"Why?" Flossie Wright narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Got extras."
Speaking lazily, Sandy Cruz had already turned and walked away.
