"Babe, looking for me?"
The voice was low and magnetic, with a hint of ease.

Recently, Perry Reed had become increasingly slick in his speech. Flossie Wright’s brow moved slightly, but she wasn’t in the mood to correct him and responded directly, "Yeah."
"What’s up?"
Knowing Flossie’s character of not bothering others without a good reason, Perry went straight to the point.
Flossie answered nonchalantly.
There was a brief pause on the other end before a teasing voice asked in a low tone, "You calling to flirt?"
"Get lost."
With a slight twitch of her lips, Flossie replied unreservedly.
"Then I’ll hang up." Perry continued along the same vein.
Glancing up at the white walls, Flossie took a deep breath to suppress her irritation.
After a moment of silence, Flossie tilted her head slightly and listened carefully before asking, "Are you busy?"
"If you’re calling, I’m not busy." Perry responded smoothly.
"Oh?" Flossie raised an eyebrow and smiled, "Then what’s that noise over there?"
"What noise?"
Perry asked in a low voice, his husky tone hiding a faint smile.
"You heard wrong." Perry claimed confidently.
Wordlessly, Flossie couldn’t help but raise her hand and rub her forehead.
She wasn’t deaf. She could hear the clear sound of gunshots; it’s just that they were so far apart, whatever Perry said was taken at face value, and she wasn’t in the mood to press the issue.
"Go," Flossie spoke softly, "find a chair to sit down and pour yourself a cup of tea."
"Got something to talk about?" Perry’s puzzled voice floated from the other end of the phone.
"Got something to talk about."
Flossie confirmed.
And indeed, there was something to discuss.
With her affirmation, Perry glanced at the sky to make sure it hadn’t changed, then he left a group of people "about to execute" without a word and went into the building behind him.
Flossie waited on the other side.
Knowing that Perry was busy, but since he had agreed, Flossie accepted it with peace of mind.
After all, this wasn’t the first time.
"Talk to me."
Holding a teapot, Perry twirled it on his fingertip and casually began speaking into the phone.
On this end, Flossie poured herself a glass of water, wearing flip-flops, and asked lightly, "How’s Slaughter doing?"
"Slaughter?"
At the mention of the word, Perry gently raised his eyebrows.
Five years ago, when Flossie Wright and Daisy Deacon first met, they recruited five people within three days through force, forming a mercenary corps named Slaughter.
And now, Slaughter had become a formidable name among mercenary groups, making anyone who heard it shudder.
It was also ranked among the top ten in the roving mercenary groups of Africa.
"Yeah." Flossie nodded.
Intrigued, Perry leaned back in his chair and asked in an alluring low voice, "Who specifically do you want to ask about?"
After thinking for a moment, Flossie directly said, "Daisy Deacon, and also, Andrew."
"Daisy Deacon is in the throes of love, IQ dropping to negative numbers, slowly transferring power to Andrew."
Flossie frowned slightly.
As expected, IQ indeed negative.
After a brief pause and not hearing Flossie speak, Perry continued lazily, "If you want to take Slaughter back, I can help at any time."
