The two vehicles were slowly bumping along the road.
Desolate, silent, barren.
This was an abandoned area.
Everything seemed ordinary.
Yet, Glenn Hutchinson, sitting in the passenger seat, had his brows slightly furrowed.
There was an indescribable tension and sense of crisis.
It could be called intuition, but there was definitely some premonition.
He touched his earpiece and said in a deep voice, "Slow down, level one alert."
After speaking, only a quick "Yes" was heard, followed by silence.
However, in the rearview mirror, the speed of the vehicle behind had visibly slowed down quite a bit.
Beside him, the driver also unconsciously slowed down due to Glenn’s command.

Glenn furrowed his brows, closely observing his surroundings.
A person’s intuition can sense danger.
This is a kind of luck.
But more often than not, Glenn doesn’t quite trust intuition.
On the battlefield, he prefers to trust his eyes.
He began to realize what was intensifying his sense of crisis.
In the nearby bushes, occasionally there were broken branches, broken unnaturally, without significant traces, merely one or two every so often broken abnormally.
At first glance, one or two might not draw attention, just leaving a vague impression on the retina, but if seen regularly at intervals, it means something is up.
Then, as Glenn noticed this, after spotting another broken branch at the next equal distance, his brows furrowed tightly.
Only a bullet could cause such a break.
Someone had previously shot bullets leaving obvious marks, like hinting at something.
Or, perhaps, trying to warn them.
The only person Glenn could think of who would appear in such a place and offer them a warning was one person.
Flossie Wright.
Only she had that kind of shooting skill.
With this thought, Glenn tightened his brow and coldly continued to issue commands, "There’s an ambush at the foot of the mountain, be cautious."
As these words fell.
The channel burst into some discussions.
Surprised and complaining, some even asking Glenn for reasons, but none doubting him.
They were accustomed to obeying Glenn’s orders.
Of course, they must also follow Glenn’s orders.
Hence, level one alert!
Just arrived, and someone wants to kill them?!
They really think Eastlandia is easy to bully!
"Captain Hutchinson, is there really an ambush?"
The driver drove carefully, glancing at Glenn Hutchinson.
The drivers of the two vehicles were worker soldiers who arrived first, specifically to pick them up.
Information about Aaron Doom was scarce, they just knew this group was special forces, here to make initial contact before the actual team joins.
It’s said they were very formidable.
But nobody knew their exact code, just the insignia on their shoulders indicated they were in similar positions to them.
Glenn Hutchinson spoke calmly with a stern look.
Simultaneously, on these two vehicles, people continuously jumped out, each swiftly diving into the jungle as soon as they opened the car doors, causing a slight rustle, after which no trace of them could be detected.
The driver observed this through the rearview mirror, and for some reason, his palms were sweating.
Everyone here could perform such a series of actions, but in terms of speed and precision, their professionalism was evident.
