"What’s up?"
Frowning slightly, Flossie Wright halted in her tracks.
Waiting for him to come over.
"I heard you moved out of the cooking class," Rowdy Brightwill’s face did not hide his smile. There was a hint of sincerity in his laughing eyes, "Congratulations, you’ve officially moved over."
She responded with a perfunctory nod.
After a pause, Flossie Wright suddenly raised her eyebrows at him, "Fancy a shoot-out?"
Rowdy Brightwill was slightly taken aback. He could see the hint of amusement in Flossie Wright’s face, so he responded, "At your service, as always."
He always knew about Flossie Wright’s shooting skills. As a person living in the Forces, he is always interested in all strong people and things. Since Flossie Wright took the initiative this time, he naturally wouldn’t refuse.
Standing position, ten bullets, a thousand meters, beyond the scope of the 95-style automatic rifles.
However, for them, it was nothing more than a drill.
"Bang, Bang, Bang——"
In the serene and broad shooting range, the loud sounds suddenly erupted. The rapid gunfire shocked the birds passing by, fluttering their wings, almost being frightened to fall.
After the noise, the solemn shooting range once again fell into silence.
The two virtually stopped at the same time.
"Let’s go check."
Rowdy Brightwill, his handsome eyes with a slight curve, turned towards the direction of the targets, motioning Flossie Wright with a raised eyebrow.
The two targets were covered with bullet holes at the red center.
Both had ten.
Theoretically, it’s a tie.
However, with just a glance, Rowdy Brightwill recognized the difference between them; the surprised look in his heart barely concealed.
Flossie Wright’s bullet holes were methodically arranged, in stark contrast to his chaotic ones. Any observer could tell the difference in their shooting abilities.
There was some disappointment in his face, but Rowdy Brightwill honestly admitted, "I lost."
Losing to Flossie Wright, to him, was a bit of a blow.
Yet, surprisingly, he wasn’t taken aback.
"There are specialists in every field, my strongest suit isn’t shooting, and there’s no need to compare this aspect with others. As long as I can complete the mission and survive on the battlefield, that’s enough."
Flossie Wright appeared indifferent, not at all smug, nor surprised; this result seemed natural to her.
She had been practicing shooting for so many years, if she were to lose to Rowdy Brightwill, that would be a total embarrassment.
"Do you guys train snipers here?"

Flossie Wright squinted her eyes, and while her gaze leisurely swept over Rowdy Brightwill, she abruptly asked.
That was her intention.
Since she had set down this path, there was no way she was going to allow herself to be eliminated. But if she was to continue staying here, she had to find what she was good at.
That was a good choice.
At least, she was very interested.
"You want to be a sniper?" Rowdy Brightwill was slightly taken aback, but sensing Flossie Wright’s seriousness, he nodded, "Of course, we do have snipers in our team, trained by Captain Cameron Bailey firsthand."
Flossie Wright nodded, looking interested.
Staring blankly at her, Rowdy Brightwill didn’t hide his shock.
Although Rowdy Brightwill acknowledged Flossie Wright’s shooting skills, becoming a sniper required enormous willpower and determination; it wasn’t easy to succeed.
The snipers around him were usually the silent, introverted types, who seldom interacted with others unless necessary. These people, as if they had lost their interest in interacting with the outside world through their monotonous daily training, often gave him the creeps.
Because those people were always quick to remind him—they were weapons, the most powerful weapons in this maritime territory.
"Are you sure?"
After a brief pause, Rowdy Brightwill asked again, furrowing his brow.
"Ah," Flossie Wright responded casually as she slung her gun over her shoulder, "I’ll go first."
"We’ll chat more later."
Rowdy Brightwill tried to stop her, but all he got was a wave from her and her departing figure.
With a somewhat helpless sigh, Rowdy Brightwill scratched his head. The worry in his eyes lingered for a long time.
A sniper, huh...
When did that little girl that he remembered become associated with being a sniper?
He didn’t understand.
But he had a feeling that Flossie Wright’s becoming a sniper wasn’t just a passing thought.
Well, let it be.
As long as she can do what she loves, that’s good enough.
Two hundred people were selected and sent out of the Base by Austin Shepherd and Nathan Foster after noon.
Everyone knew that in their future military careers, these people would rarely intersect with the Forces.
Therefore, the morale during the ideological education session meant to boost the unity of the team that night was somewhat low.
Will those who left today be their own fate in the future?
There is one more month left of the new recruits’ training.
In this one month, they could be eliminated at any time.
Although Becca Reyes was on the verge of sleeping, she did notice Flossie Wright, who was already asleep on the table during Nathan Foster’s ideological education speech.
She nudged her.
Flossie Wright peeled back an eyelid, glanced at her, then closed her eyes again.
So, Becca Reyes nudged her again.
This time, Flossie Wright didn’t even raise her eyes, she just plainly ignored her.
For an entire day, she had been undergoing physical training, practicing shooting, and learning diving, only taking twenty minutes to eat.
Now that she was drained, listening to ideological education was the perfect lullaby.
Nathan Foster on the stage glared at Flossie Wright several times. But every time he wanted to call out to her, he was suggested by Austin Shepherd and Rowdy Brightwill not to — you better not do that.
Therefore, during the entire hour of ideological education, Nathan Foster was filled with pent-up anger because of Flossie Wright. The moment he came down from the stage, he started arguing with Austin Shepherd.
Damn it, it was your task after all. Why did you make him give the ideological education lecture...
Austin Shepherd quickly begged for mercy, freed himself from his grasp and quickly disappeared with Rowdy Brightwill.
However, Flossie Wright, who was kept a close watch on for a full hour, was completely unaware.
Upon waking up, she was surprised at Nathan Foster’s tolerance.
