They were in the midst of their vacation, and as long as it didn’t interfere with his training, Glenn Hutchinson wouldn’t care about a little bit of covert action.
"Let’s get things done first."
Wrapping his arms around Flossie Wright’s shoulders, Glenn Hutchinson decisively said.

Flossie Wright glanced at him from the corner of her eye.
Soon, Glenn Hutchinson led her straight up to the Office Building.
Glenn Hutchinson’s Jeep was parked outside the Office Building.
Moving confidently to the second-floor office, Glenn Hutchinson quickly unlocked the door with his key.
With a "click," the office’s incandescent light turned on.
Arriving at the office desk, Glenn Hutchinson gestured to a chair.
Flossie sat down.
Quickly, Glenn Hutchinson placed a stack of documents in front of Flossie Wright.
"Read them, memorize them."
Glenn Hutchinson ordered simply.
Flossie Wright scanned the documents.
They were in a familiar format.
Looking closely, she realized the pile of documents pertained to the students currently selected for evaluation.
All were some sort of report card, along with instructors’ comments.
Compared to last time, this pile was obviously not as intimidating.
After all, half of the students had been eliminated.
"No reason provided this time?"
Picking up the stack of documents, Flossie Wright asked with a slight frown, looking towards Glenn Hutchinson.
"No reason," he said, sitting down opposite her, lazily watching her. "You can’t leave until you’ve finished reading."
Flossie Wright looked at him with an expression of incomprehension.
Reading this kind of material on New Year’s Eve?
She didn’t care about celebrating; even if there were celebrations, she had little interest. It was nothing to her to be dragged here to look at documents.
Glenn Hutchinson accompanying her?
His teammates were all celebrating, with the sounds of gongs and drums filling the air. As the Jeep passed by, Flossie Wright caught a glimpse, and it seemed incredibly lively over there.
Yet here was Glenn Hutchinson, the Captain, keeping her company in the office?
It all seemed quite odd.
"Aren’t you going to the parade ground?"
Flipping through the pages of the documents casually, Flossie Wright asked Glenn Hutchinson.
"I’ll wait for you to finish reading," said Glenn Hutchinson leisurely.
Just another party; Glenn Hutchinson wasn’t interested at all. He had already notified the main troop; no one would be looking for him if he didn’t show up.
Besides, he preferred the peace and quiet.
Flossie Wright glanced at him.
Thanks to him, Flossie Wright could skim through material with intense speed, finishing the documents as quickly as possible while ensuring that she could clearly remember the key points.
Concentrating, she blocked out everything from the outside world, to the extent that she didn’t even glance at the cup of water Glenn Hutchinson had poured for her.
Glenn Hutchinson watched her the entire time, so needless to say, she was completely unaware of any happenings outside.
Not until she flipped the last page did Flossie Wright’s eyes, which had been glued to the A4 paper, finally get a break.
"I’ve finished reading."
Two minutes later, after sweeping through the last bit of information, Flossie Wright pushed the stack of A4 papers towards Glenn Hutchinson.
"Any questions?"
Glancing at the stack of A4 papers, Glenn Hutchinson asked slowly.
Flossie Wright nodded.
After a pause, Flossie Wright looked directly at Glenn Hutchinson, "The 12th person from Dormitory 303, Qiao Jin, what’s their background?"
In this batch of documents, Flossie Wright saw everyone’s results, including her own.
Her results were passable, but her points had been deducted terribly.
Only Qiao Jin, who hadn’t even been there for a month, had outstanding results in everything, with 100 points that didn’t budge at all.
"Do you want to know?" Glenn Hutchinson’s mouth curled into a smile.
"Very curious."
Flossie Wright shrugged.
"In half a month, she’ll appear," Glenn Hutchinson stood up, his eyes smiling as he looked at her. "Find out for yourself."
Raising her eyebrows, Flossie Wright did not pursue the matter any further.
Standing up as well, she took a cup filled with water from beside her and drank it all in one go.
"Want more?"
Glenn Hutchinson asked her with a smile.
"Anything else?" Flossie Wright deftly changed the subject.
Looking at her, Glenn Hutchinson gently shook his head.
"I’m leaving first."
Flossie Wright said decisively.
Having said that, she turned and headed for the office door.
"Captain, are you there——"
Just as Flossie Wright reached the door, she heard an inquiring voice.
At the same time, a figure flashed to the outside of the door, colliding with Flossie Wright.
It was Willie Ash, the professional errand-runner.
Willie hadn’t finished speaking when he ran into Flossie Wright face to face, causing all his words to die in his throat, and he instinctively opened his eyes wide to look at her, his eyes filled with disbelief.
Stepping back, Willie Ash stood upright, staring at her in astonishment.
Flossie Wright said indifferently, raising her hand to point inside the office.
Staring at her without blinking, Willie Ash nodded his head, but it was evident that his mind was not on "finding the Captain."
Flossie Wright shrugged and, under his incredulous gaze, walked away without hurry.
Not until she turned a corner and disappeared at the stairwell did Willie Ash thoughtfully stroke his chin.
This late at night, the Captain wasn’t attending the evening party but was instead with Flossie Wright...
No matter how he thought about it, the office seemed filled with an ambiguous air.
However, before his mind could wander further, his own Captain stood before him, cutting off all his wild guesses.
"Captain, the team is calling for you."
Willie Ash collected his thoughts and hurriedly spoke to Glenn Hutchinson.
Glenn Hutchinson responded indifferently.
Quickly, under Willie Ash’s gaze, he headed towards the stairway.
Deliberately leaving one after the other?
Watching Glenn Hutchinson’s retreating figure, Willie Ash instantly formed this idea, and the more he thought about it, the more intentional it seemed, convincing himself almost completely.
Upon leaving the office building.
Flossie Wright was in no hurry to head to the cafeteria.
She took a detour, avoiding the playground and taking a shortcut to the dormitory of the students.
With her route, as she neared, she would have to pass by a small clearing near the dormitory building.
Therefore, before she drew near, she heard noises from the clearing that were no less lively than those from the playground.
Everyone was egging each other on.
Flossie Wright passed by in silence.
However, before she could get past, the corner of her eye caught sight of Cassie Ferguson.
The other party had already noticed and was coincidentally looking in her direction.
A basketball was being passed around among them, flying towards Cassie Ferguson on the periphery.
Then, with a glance in her direction, Cassie Ferguson slapped the basketball with her palm, and it abruptly changed direction, hurtling straight toward Flossie Wright!
