"Give me two cold tablets."
The frosty voice echoed in the room, effectively suppressing Becca Reyes’s discontent.
Becca Reyes turned her head to see Flossie Wright on her bed, her eyes barely open. She instinctively asked, "Are you catching a cold?"
Flossie half-squinted her eyes and gave Becca a cold sweep, making it crystal clear it was none of her business whether she was catching a cold or not.
"Alright, I’ll get it for you."
She didn’t quibble with a sick patient. Although Becca wanted to revel in Flossie’s sudden illness, delaying training due to a cold wasn’t a good thing. Grabbing a cup of water and retrieving the medication wouldn’t kill her, and why not perform this simple act?
Because Becca was lately afraid of getting sick due to lack of sleep, her resistance fading, she had a huge surplus of cold medicine from a recent hospital visit. Discovering she was in the cooking class, the hospital packed more medicine into her bag than she could imagine, treating her as some kind of dispenser. Perhaps this was all due to Flossie’s good fortune. Becca even managed to make light of it for a while, never imagining that this was the first time she’d be using the medicine for Flossie.
"Get up first, be careful not to spill on the quilt."
Becca arrived at Flossie’s bedside with the cup and medicine. Never being particularly nurturing, she wasn’t overly courteous, but a look from Flossie caused Becca to back down immediately, her face flushed with a somewhat insincere smile.
"Come here, take it easy." Becca softened her tone, as if coaxing a child.
Flossie shot her a glare, then sat up.
Meanwhile, Yvonne Watson, who was sitting across from them and writing her self-critique, had her head lower and her eyes teared up again upon hearing their conversation.
She bit her lips, feeling wronged.
Just then, a severe voice came from the door—
"Yvonne Watson, is your self-review done?!"
The sound of a cup falling and shattering was heard immediately after her words, causing a momentary spell of silence to permeate the dormitory.
Almost immediately, Becca was heard cursing, "Damn!"

Just as Neal Thompson spoke, Becca was handing the water cup to Flossie. The shock from the sudden voice caused her hand to shake slightly, and because Flossie did not catch the cup in time, it fell and splashed everywhere, most of the water splattering on Becca’s ankles.
Becca’s forehead twitched in irritation.
It was late at night, almost time to rest. Why the hell would he suddenly cause a commotion?
At the same time, Neal Thompson paused at the door due to the commotion in the dormitory. He was surprised to see the other two figures in the room. He saw Flossie sitting on her bed, looking a little pale, but her eyes remained sharp. Her gaze emitted an aura of coldness and warning, making Neal unable to progress further inside.
Ever since Flossie laid her hands on him, Neal had been scared of her. This fear was difficult to put into words, causing him to actively avoid her while not being brave enough to reveal what had happened that morning. His brief mega gaze today reignited the fear hidden deep within his heart, sending chills down his spine.
