He frowned, showing his hesitation for a moment, then eventually took out his phone, dialing a number—it was Flossie Wright’s number.
Flossie Wright was roaming idly, with her jacket casually draped over her one shoulder after her jogging session.

Although her figure was slender, she did not appear weak, rather, she seemed more like a free spirit.
Suddenly, her phone hummed in her pocket.
Pulling it out, Flossie glanced at the caller ID, then answered the call.
"What’s up?"
Flossie cut straight to the chase.
"Flossie, Becca Reyes and Calvin Ramos just broke up..."
The voice of Stuart Weston came through the phone.
He rapidly, yet accurately, described the scene of their break up.
By the time he finished speaking urgently, Flossie had come to a stop at a bus stop.
"What should I do?" Stuart asked.
"They broke up..." Flossie pondered evenly, "Isn’t that a good thing?"
"...I suppose so."
Nodding his head, it seemed as if Stuart finally understood.
"However," Flossie paused, raising an eyebrow, "Are you stupid or something?"
"Me? What did I do?"
"She just broke up with him. Did it not occur to you to comfort her, to take advantage while she’s vulnerable?"
"Well... I was too busy calling you."
"Now that the call is over, get to work."
The moment she finished speaking, Flossie Wright hung up the call.
Stuart, on the other end, was at a loss for what to do next.
He wanted to keep Flossie informed because they were allies; he didn’t expect her to just hang up on him.
Such rudeness!
Stuart was upset, but soon he shook his feelings aside and followed after Becca, not wasting any more time.
Flossie hung up the call and noticed that her bus was coming. She put her phone back to her pocket.
As she boarded the bus with her jacket still draped on her shoulder, she held onto her jacket with one hand while the other hand went into her pants pocket.
It was a busy weekend; there were still quite a number of passengers on the bus.
All seats were taken, so Flossie stood, holding onto a handle for balance.
Even as the bus rumbled down the road, Flossie’s expression remained casual and laid-back.
The bus was noisy with chatter, phone calls coming in spurts, some loud, some hardly audible.
After two stops, Flossie raised an eyebrow in annoyance, casting a sidelong glance to her side.
"Hey, dude."
Her cool voice caught the young man standing beside her off guard. His hand, which had been inching towards the pocket of her jacket, hurriedly retreated.
He looked at Flossie, guilt clear in his darting gaze.
"You’re not cut out for this line of work."
Shrugging her shoulders, Flossie sounded almost regretful.
He looked at her, stunned.
Could she belong to the same ’trade’?
It was no wonder he speculated so. After all, she had detected his move and calmly cautioned him without showing any signs of hostility.
Before he could question further, Flossie turned her head away, her gaze focusing somewhere outside the window.
Clearly, she had no intention of engaging in further conversation with him.
To her, as long as he didn’t bother her, everything else didn’t really matter.
To her surprise, the novice thief followed her when she got off the bus a few stops later.
"Hello, you..." The thief stuttered, stopping her a few steps away from the bus.
Flossie raised an eyebrow.
"Um...you... you’re not... not in the same ’business’ as me, are you?" The thief mumbled, grinning awkwardly.
Ignoring his question, Flossie walked past him.
The thief hurried after her, calling her shyly, "Master, can I... can I be your disciple?"
Obviously, from his continuous thought process during the journey, the thief had already made up his mind about Flossie’s ’profession’—
She was definitely a thief.
Flossie paused slightly, and the corners of her mouth twitched.
Flossie raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her eyes.
"Yep!" The thief nodded hurriedly."You must be a legend in our field. I am a beginner, and I want to learn from you."
Gazing at him, a few seconds passed.
"Dude, you should be glad you’re a beginner."
Flossie spoke teasingly as she moved past him again.
The thief halted, just as he was about to run after her. He then heard her languid voice wafting back to him.
"Stop following me, I’m in the military."
Her voice was indifferent, devoid of any emotion.
But, it rooted the thief on the spot.
Ahead, Flossie removed her jacket from her shoulder. The garment twirled in the air, and in a blink of an eye, she put it back on.
Her movements were fluid and impressive.
Gazing at her, the thief gulped, an inexplicable dread setting in.
The night was slightly chilly.
In the surveillance room of the amusement park.
Nathan Foster, after hearing the report from his earphone, was instantly furious.
"What?! They just snuck away without a sound?!"
