Flossie nodded, indicating she understood.

Cherry Hamilton, Flossie didn’t know her too well, but she had a pretty good read on her personality.
She seemed gentle and amiable, polite and considerate to everyone, as if she never lost her temper, but that was only if you didn’t touch a sore spot.
Pretending, who couldn’t do that?
In truth, she could hold onto a small grievance for a long time, her jealousy and competitiveness were strong, and her temper was not as good as it seemed. She was entirely capable of hitting someone where it hurt when pushed to the limit.
Having thought it through, Flossie had no intention of getting involved and headed straight for Dormitory 105.
"Hey, where are you going—"
Becca Reyes called out to her from behind.
"Going back to sleep."
She replied without looking back.
Flossie walked away with carefree ease, clearly not inclined to deal with the matter.
Becca Reyes was dumbfounded.
After a moment, she lifted her feet and followed.
In the dormitory, apart from Jocelyn Carrington, everyone else was there.
Belinda Nichols and Mariana Buck were already asleep, Jessie Grain was flipping through her notes by the light, her expression gentle, yet oblivious to the noise outside.
"Close the door."
Walking in, Flossie sat at her desk, leisurely flipping through her notebook.
There was a test tomorrow.
She was accustomed to cramming at the last minute.
Becca Reyes, with a twitch of her lips, did as she was told and closed the door.
The noise from outside immediately diminished.
"You’re really not going to do anything?"
Becca Reyes walked over, sighed, and asked quietly.
Flossie responded indifferently, turning a page.
"Fine," Becca Reyes shrugged, "after all, you’re the captain."
With that, she put the issue with Cherry Hamilton out of her mind, stopped nearby, and curiously looked at the notebook in Flossie’s hands.
There were two tests every week now.
Flossie would only grab her notebook right before the tests, give it a quick once-over for less than half an hour, yet always ranked among the top scorers, which was enough to make anyone jealous.
Driven by curiosity, Becca Reyes glanced over those notes.
"You must be feverish," Becca Reyes put a hand on Flossie’s shoulder, frowning, "These notes are even less detailed than mine."
Flossie acknowledged with a nonchalant hum.
She continued to flip through the pages.
"So you..." Becca Reyes deliberately elongated her words.
Flossie glanced at her sidelong and said in a calm voice, "Look at your own; don’t waste time."
Becca Reyes was left speechless.
What did she mean by wasting time?
Her own notes were so detailed, covering every point; how could that be a waste of time?
Her exam scores were more detailed than her notes, okay?!
It was hard to find any detailed data in this notebook!
Yet, she was sure that Flossie had never so much as glanced at someone else’s paper during the tests.
Struggling for a moment, Becca Reyes cautiously moved closer and asked softly, "How do you do it?"
Looking at notes that were more like an outline, Flossie didn’t seem to grasp the specifics; how did she manage to achieve such good scores?
"You couldn’t do it."
Flossie, her head bowed while scanning through her notes, said dismissively.
Becca Reyes gritted her teeth.
Annoyed, she huffed, took out her notebook, and sat down next to her, beginning to revise as well.
Flossie took a glance at her, smiled, and said nothing more.
Really, Becca Reyes couldn’t do it.
She had asked Sandy Cruz for notes because Sandy only focused on the key points, without any detailed recordings.
