Ice lowered his gaze, his eyes sweeping sternly over them.
Instantly, everyone instinctively shut their mouths.
Then Ice took the backpack off his shoulder, raised his hand, and tossed it to the person standing at the forefront, speaking slowly and deliberately, "She handled them all by herself."
The few people who were initially pleased upon seeing the backpack froze in disbelief at Ice’s plain words.
The backpack hit the person in front, but as he failed to catch it, it fell heavily to the ground.
The sound jolted the group back to reality.
One person popped his head out, incredulous, and confirmed with Ice.
Ice responded calmly.
Consequently, this group fell silent, and the gaze they directed at Flossie Wright turned peculiar and strange.
What kind of person could take down seven people unscathed?!
What’s more astonishing is that they remembered she was wearing the same outfit yesterday, and now, after handling seven people, her clothes showed no trace of blood.
How did she do it?!
Sensing their doubt and astonishment, Flossie Wright found it impossible to maintain her silence.
She stepped forward.
Flossie walked to the front of Ice.
Immediately, a few people moved, subconsciously wanting to draw their knives, but under Ice’s cold stare, they forcibly held back.
This woman was the kind who could always be a threat, making people wish they could get rid of her as soon as possible.
Otherwise, one might suspect she could kill them at any moment.
"I’m a sniper."
Pointing to the sniper rifle on her shoulder, Flossie shrugged, providing an answer that could convince them.
Sure enough, upon hearing this explanation, their skepticism dissipated significantly.
A sniper—
Well, no wonder.
Among this batch of people, only Ice was considered half a sniper because he was versatile, able to use everything a bit, but not excelling in any particular skill. They had asked Ice before, and he had stated that in the realm of sniping, he was merely a beginner.
Even just being a beginner, they had witnessed how he once, behind the scenes, suppressed the enemy with a sniper gun, his style unrivaled.
Apparently, the one in front of them was more than just half a sniper.
She seemed very cool.
With a sniper gun on her back, she looked incredibly cool.
They spent nearly a minute, whispering for quite some time, eventually accepting Flossie Wright’s identity and her arrival.
From now on, R would become one of them.
Even after a long time, when the mercenary group named Anonymous would undergo drastic changes, someone would remember the woman known as R.
She was the only woman in Anonymous.
And she was a sniper.
A legendary figure who, if she chose to act, could accomplish anything.
This was just the beginning.
In Flossie Wright’s life, in a series of small journeys, this was a team she had joined, not very prominent.
Yet, in all the good fortunes she encountered in her life, past and future, this was equally a fortunate matter.
Just like with Saughter and the Eastlandia Forces, she met a group of good people.
A group of very, very good people.
Thus, she left behind wonderful memories.
Although the ending wasn’t entirely perfect.
That evening, to celebrate Flossie Wright’s arrival, they held a symbolic welcome party in the deep forests.
However, Flossie Wright genuinely felt that this group was only under the guise of "welcoming her" and was actually celebrating the acquisition of their goods.
The backpack was filled with gold.

No one knew where the gold came from.
But just one backpack full of gold was certainly valuable.
Fortunately, this group naturally handed over the backpack of gold to Ice for safekeeping, with no one uttering a word of objection. The atmosphere at night, ready to ignite, was harmonious.
As the newcomer, Flossie Wright promptly memorized their names and characteristics, then showed them a little skill at the right moment.
Knife to rabbits, knife to river fish.
Two people followed her actions but were perfectly robbed of their chances to show off.
Once the prey appeared, before they even prepared, Flossie’s knife flew out, piercing the prey with precision.
But, immensely satisfying.
So when the two returned with a handful of prey, following Flossie, everyone was surprised to find them looking as if they’d lost everything, resembling dazed girls, bringing a strange sense of incongruity.
The two were too embarrassed to speak.
Flossie Wright remained calm and indifferent.
She delegated the task of handling the prey entirely to them.
Then, like a leisurely lord, she sat beside them, watching them busily from side to side while she relaxed.
Beside her, a roasted fish was handed over.
Flossie Wright accepted it naturally.
"Where are you planning to go next?"
Removing the fish fin, Flossie Wright asked Ice.
"Cross the border," Ice said calmly.
"To kill Gavin?" Flossie’s action paused, and she raised her eyebrow to ask.
"More or less." Ice nodded slightly.
Flossie looked at him.
After a moment, Ice, while continuing to roast fish, seemed to notice her gaze, and only then did he turn his head to look at her, "Going to West Hare, there’s a war there."
Flossie nodded.
West Hare, huh...
Truly not a pleasant country.
However, they were mercenaries.
In a country ravaged by war, they, as mercenaries, would profit the most.
She chose them, so she should follow their actions without dissent.
