Initially, Yvonne Watson quite liked Flossie Wright, not only because she wanted to curry her favor, but also because she was subtly attracted to Flossie’s tranquil disposition. However, in the cooking class, she had to understand the nuances of the situation. The male soldiers didn’t like her very much, so she could only ingratiate herself with Neal Thompson. Unexpectedly, the next morning, Flossie offended Neal’s good friend, Mia Lawson. After deliberating, Yvonne intentionally began avoiding Flossie.
Of course, she knew that she had many weaknesses. As she saw Becca Reyes and Flossie getting closer and closer, she was envious, jealous, and hateful because she and Neal could never reach that level of intimacy. Neal always held a position of power and ordered her to do everything.
And now, she was truly at a loss. Neal was currently furious, and she was too embarrassed to talk to the male soldiers. It goes without saying that she couldn’t speak to Becca Reyes. Ever since their first meeting when she was threatened, Becca had been someone she avoided. After much consideration, it seemed that only Flossie was approachable.
When one is clueless, even a straw can be clutched desperately for survival.
After uttering these cold words, Flossie didn’t hesitate to walk into the dormitory. She instinctively reached out to flip the switch, lighting up the entire dormitory and dispelling all the darkness.
Yvonne agreed obediently, following her inside. When she saw Flossie moving a stool to sit down, she realized something and hurried over, stuttering as she explained the problem she was currently facing.
Yvonne was enamored with Austin Shepherd, it was obvious to anyone who saw them together. However, very few people knew that Yvonne had fallen in love with Austin the moment she saw him, which was not long after she was assigned to the cooking class.
But Austin was too exceptional, and she never had the courage to confess her feelings.

These past few days, Yvonne had hesitated for long before deciding to confess her love to Austin that very night, via a text message, of course.
Unfortunately, she was so nervous that she sent the message to the wrong person. It ended up being sent to Nigel Ferguson, with whom she had exchanged phone numbers a few days ago. The content of the message was vague and practically demonstrated all her little talents. Therefore, upon reading the message, Nigel mistook it for a confession to him and immediately called her back.
It was only when Yvonne answered the phone that she realized her blunder. She was so distraught that she almost cried, whimpering and stammering, unable to explain her mistake clearly. As she attempted to explain the misunderstanding, it became increasingly muddled.
What she least expected was that in the midst of her explaining, Neal who had just finished her chores, walked in. Hearing the conversation on the phone and reading Yvonne’s confession message, she became furious. She scolded Yvonne for being indecorous, reprimanding her severely before throwing the phone back at her, instructing her to reflect on her behavior and write a repentance report before lights out.
Therefore, Yvonne was left anxiously pacing outside the door.
"That’s all?"
Thinking that it had been some earth-shattering issue, Flossie was surprised to find out it was something quite trivial and couldn’t quite follow Yvonne and Neal’s logic.
Although there was a rule against new soldiers dating in the Forces, it was only applied to the younger ones. Yvonne was already twenty years old, couldn’t she find a boyfriend to date or take the initiative to confess her love?
There were so many people in the Forces, some were older and had even started families. Could they all be a facade?
If taking the initiative to confess was indecorous, what about Mia Lawson, Neal’s best friend?
