Of course, it’s not much bigger.
Originally, Harris Caleb lived with him, but now Harris has been transferred, and no new deputy team leader has replaced him, so for now, Glenn Hutchinson lives alone.
The problem is—
Subconsciously, he didn’t want to sleep in someone else’s bed.
This subtle thought didn’t register with Glenn Hutchinson, yet he pointed directly at his own bed and said, "The one on the bottom."
Flossie Wright responded.
The hand that was holding the towel dropped, the towel slid off her hair, and then, with Flossie’s throwing motion, fell onto a nearby rack.
She walked straight to the bottom bunk.
Seeing her wet hair, Glenn Hutchinson paused slightly, his expression showing a hint of helplessness.
When he reached the rack, Glenn picked up the towel and followed behind Flossie.
Flossie had barely come to a stop when Glenn reached her back.
"What is it?"
Flossie frowned in confusion.
"Wait a bit before you sleep."
Pulling her to sit by the bed, Glenn placed the towel over her head.
Gently wiping.
There was no hairdryer here, he could only try to dry her hair as much as possible.
Flossie was the kind of person who was indifferent to many things, let alone drying her hair, she would just casually wipe it and be done, but Glenn couldn’t ignore it.
After staying up three days, her body was weak. If she caught a cold from sleeping, Flossie would suffer.
Flossie responded listlessly.
She really couldn’t muster any energy.
Seeing her fatigue, Glenn didn’t delay much longer, and after drying her hair as best as he could, he let Flossie lie down to sleep.
Perhaps too tired, Flossie slept soundly.
Slept until four in the afternoon.
Flossie was woken up by hunger.
Especially when she felt hungry and smelled the aroma of food.
She immediately became awake.
Opening her eyes and taking in her surroundings, realizing she was in Glenn Hutchinson’s dormitory, Flossie suppressed the slight vigilance that arose unbidden, and then sat up from the bed.
Noticing the movement, Glenn Hutchinson walked over.
"Yeah." Flossie replied.
"Hungry?" Glenn continued to ask.
Flossie gathered a bit of spirit.
"Just brought back some food," With a slight smile, Glenn added, "something you like to eat."
"What time is it?"
Flossie asked curiously.
Judging by the time, it was still early, but it shouldn’t be noon, was there already food in the cafeteria at this time?
However—

If Glenn wanted to get some food, it wasn’t impossible.
"Just past four."
Checking his watch, Glenn replied.
Rubbing her forehead, Flossie then lifted the covers, preparing to get out of bed.
She only had a pair of combat boots, but when she went to find them, she was surprised to find them missing, and under the bed were a pair of brand new women’s slippers.
Her brow furrowed slightly, Flossie gave him a sidelong glance, "You bought these?"
"Yeah." Glenn nodded.
Flossie didn’t stand on ceremony, and just put them on.
She walked straight to the dining table.
On the table, there were three dishes and a soup, none of them particularly favored by Flossie, yet all remarkably to her taste.
The food was still steaming hot.
As Flossie walked over, Glenn thoughtfully pulled the chair out for her to sit down smoothly.
In doing all this, Glenn’s actions were natural, nothing was done deliberately, it was just instinctual.
Flossie noticed all of it.
After a few bites of food, Flossie suddenly thought of something, glanced at Glenn, who was to one side, "Did you ask me here for something?"
Going up the mountain early in the morning to find her couldn’t have been for nothing, right?
"What?" Flossie put a bit of rice in her mouth.
"Last year, I bought an apartment in the Military District." Glenn spoke slowly.
"And then?"
"It’s just been renovated, and I want you to have a look." Glenn said as if it were obvious.
