Flossie Wright carried a sniper gun and held a military knife, arriving somewhat awkwardly at the destination under the gaze of many.
Scanning at a glance, there were three groups of people: one was the familiar military uniforms, another was the somewhat familiar DARK, and the last was completely unfamiliar...
Probably, it was the team from the village.
Leading were Glenn Hutchinson and Perry Reed, with a group of people each. Numbers not many, at most twenty or thirty, but nearly half of them held hostages; standing opposite them was the leader Flossie had seen through the scope.
The two sides seemed to be negotiating.
As Flossie walked closer, the attention of all three groups instantly shifted towards her.
As she walked along, she assessed the situation of all three sides, until she reached the middle of them and immediately locked eyes with Glenn Hutchinson’s gaze. That dark and angry gaze instantly enveloped her entire being, causing Flossie’s momentum to slightly weaken.
No choice, she was feeling guilty.
After hesitating for a moment, she directly walked in Glenn Hutchinson’s direction.
Daisy Deacon stood to the side watching the show, seemingly scrutinizing, and had already decided in her heart that Glenn Hutchinson must be the man with this girl in mid-air.
In the gap while watching the show, out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of a captured hostage. Her expression instantly turned cold, and the trigger of the tightly gripped gun was immediately pulled back, intending to shoot the person who broke free and was rushing towards Flossie!
However, she really didn’t have time to shoot.
Just before pulling the trigger, a flash of cold light glimmered in the dark night, piercing directly into the hostage’s knee. The person’s steps halted immediately, only to be pinned down by the swiftly arriving Joshua Bailey!
Meanwhile, Flossie seemed to casually toss aside the military knife, and without pausing, walked straight up to Glenn Hutchinson.
While negotiating, Perry Reed glanced at Flossie twice, and finally seeing her obediently standing beside Glenn Hutchinson, his face turned so dark that one could scarcely bear to stay within his sight.
Damn, too terrifying!
"I didn’t cause trouble."
Standing next to Glenn Hutchinson, Flossie’s gaze swept towards the opposing army, but her low voice undoubtedly reached Glenn Hutchinson’s ears.
Glenn Hutchinson scrutinized her appearance.
Only a day without seeing her, and her body was still intact, but the rain-soaked look, the mud on her body, the messy wet hair... Each detail noticed made Glenn’s expression grow darker.
Flossie casually explained, yet Glenn Hutchinson was absent-minded, his attention was on the opposite side. After mentally estimating the number and attack power of the opposite team, she turned to look at Glenn, wanting to ask about the situation, but with just one glance, she saw Glenn’s pitch-black stern expression. A nameless rage rose from his eyes, burning more fiercely.
Realizing something was wrong, Flossie maintained a calm expression but moved her right foot sideways, intending to retreat into Glenn Hutchinson’s safety range.
Yet, filled with anger, Glenn Hutchinson wouldn’t easily let her off.
Noticing her subtle move, Glenn grabbed her wrist and, with a swift turn, pulled her directly away from the crowd.
Immediately, almost all gazes fell upon the two of them.
Each person, astonishment and confusion arose from the depths of their eyes.
As they reached the middle, Glenn Hutchinson’s gaze swept somewhere like a sharp blade, and in the next moment, a gun appeared in his hand.
Aiming in a certain direction, he pulled the trigger.
A sudden loud noise pulled the curious crowd collectively back from their stupor.
