Flossie Wright did forcibly drag Perry Reed out.
The whole time, Perry Reed was paying attention to her left arm.
"Let me have a look."
As soon as they stopped, Perry Reed furrowed his brows, worriedly reaching for Flossie’s left shoulder.
Releasing him, Flossie sidestepped and avoided his action.
"It’s nothing, just a stab wound." Flossie shrugged it off, downplaying the issue.
"Just?" Perry Reed’s face darkened.
She was just going to find Glenn Hutchinson, why did Flossie get hurt?!
"Hm," Flossie touched her nose, speaking nonchalantly, "Ran into a bit of trouble on the way."
"What kind of trouble?" Perry Reed questioned her doubtfully.
"Nothing much," Flossie said calmly, then changed the topic, "I made up with Glenn Hutchinson."
Then, after a few seconds of pause, Perry Reed’s face turned as dark as the bottom of a pot.
"Aren’t you going to offer congratulations?" Flossie raised an eyebrow at him.
"Erina!" With a swift motion, he grabbed Flossie’s collar, his expression shifting over and over, ultimately unable to suppress his inner anger, "Can’t you stop being so damn pathetic?!"
"I’m not." Flossie calmly replied, slightly furrowing her brow.
"What did he do that you’re forgiving him?!" Perry Reed’s temple veins bulged, tightening his grip on her collar.
"He died for me." Flossie’s expression didn’t change one bit.
Perry Reed looked at her coldly, speaking word by word, "You know, I can too."
"You also know, I can too." Flossie said lightly and then raised her hand, slowly prying his fingers off her collar, her voice indifferent, "This is different."
She could die for many people.
Similarly, many people were willing to die for her.
In a world like this, people like them could offer their lives for others at any moment.
If she placed her own life, Perry Reed’s life, and even Belinda Nichols and others’ lives on the same level, then she valued Glenn Hutchinson’s life more.
In fact, all the hate and grudges were not worth as much as her own life.
So, she almost naturally let it go.
Taking a deep breath, Perry Reed suppressed his raging emotions, asking coldly, "Is he still alive?"
"Alive." Flossie slightly raised her eyes.
"No broken hand, no broken leg, no paralysis?!" Perry Reed continued to ask, his voice holding endless danger.
After a pause, Flossie answered, "No."
Perry Reed’s anger completely erupted!
That man lost nothing, even if he was hurt, he would heal over time, and at most, it would leave some scars on him, but this woman forgave him for such a small sacrifice?!
He simply couldn’t swallow this anger!
"Are you stupid?!" Perry Reed’s brows knitted tightly, his palm forming a fist, a powerful pressure swept towards Flossie.
"Maybe," Flossie said lightly, "This matter is over then."
Since she had already decided to forgive, she had no intent of bringing up old issues.
The matter was already past, she could only pretend nothing had happened.
But because Perry Reed knew about it, she had to give him an answer.
Whether the answer would satisfy Perry Reed...
Flossie tried her best to explain, but guessed that no matter how perfect the reason, Perry Reed wouldn’t be satisfied.
