"Call her over."
Hutchinson interrupted Joshua Bailey coldly, slapping the materials onto the desk.
Joshua Bailey stopped his complaints in shock.
"Didn’t understand?" Hutchinson asked, his gaze ice-cold.
"But," pausing briefly, Joshua Bailey innocently touched his nose and said, "at this time, they should be in class."
Hutchinson cast him a cold glance.
Realizing what he meant, Joshua Bailey immediately exclaimed in realization, "I’ll go get her right away!"
With that, he dashed off without a trace.
He didn’t forget to close the door on his way out.
Joshua Bailey was quite reliable at handling tasks, so it didn’t take ten minutes for Flossie Wright to knock on Hutchinson’s office door.
By this time, Hutchinson’s expression had become even more somber.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
The familiar knocking sound echoed.
Hutchinson frowned slightly and spoke in a deep voice, "Come in."
Outside, Flossie Wright paused, pushed the door open, and walked in.
"Close the door."
Upon entering, she heard Hutchinson’s slightly grave voice.
Flossie Wright lifted her eyes slightly.
Instinctively sensing something was off, she didn’t think much of it and closed the door casually.
Anyway, it wouldn’t lock automatically.
"Is there something you need?"
Without intending to approach, Flossie Wright stopped near the door, casually eyeing Hutchinson.
"Come here."
Hutchinson watched her intently without saying much.
With a slight frown, Flossie Wright walked towards the desk.
There was a chair in front of the desk, but Flossie Wright didn’t sit. Instead, she stood beside it, staring at Hutchinson steadily.
At this time, she should have been in class, but Joshua Bailey had forcibly pulled her out and insisted she reach the office building as quickly as possible, even giving her a ride on an electric scooter midway.
Not Joshua Bailey’s usual style.
Naturally, it wasn’t Hutchinson’s style either.
If it wasn’t something important, Hutchinson wouldn’t act so out of character.
Frowning at her, Hutchinson’s voice was deep.
With a slight flicker in her eyes, Flossie Wright paused briefly, then quickly sat down.
"What’s been going on lately?"
Hutchinson asked with a frown, looking at her directly and asking each word deliberately.
"What do you mean?" Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow.
"Your state."
"Whose?" Flossie Wright asked knowingly.
Hutchinson’s voice suddenly grew colder, his expression darkening slightly.
Flossie Wright chuckled lightly, "I’m in great shape."
"Great shape?"
Hutchinson raised an eyebrow, echoing her words with a slightly lifted tone.
Flossie Wright’s expression didn’t change.
"Flossie Wright!"
Hutchinson called her name coldly, standing up from his chair.
Anger lingered between his brows.
The pressure in the room intensified, the sense of oppression hitting directly, his gaze like a sharp sword piercing into one’s heart.
"Instructor Hutchinson," Flossie Wright remained calm towards his reaction, casually asking, "Did you call me here just for this?"
Hutchinson’s face darkened a shade further.
Only Flossie Wright could provoke him like this with just a few understated words.
Pausing briefly, Hutchinson pulled out the grades he had been reviewing and slapped them down in front of Flossie Wright.
