Moreover, everyone had witnessed Flossie Wright’s strength when she subdued her enemy with just one move. Therefore, they couldn’t assume that Flossie was merely bluffing.
Jocelyn Carrington suppressed her anger, barely managing to squeeze out a word through gritted teeth. However, the next moment, all her words were swallowed.
Because before she could finish, Flossie Wright had calmly walked a detour around her. Her expression and attitude showed no intention of listening to what she had to say.
Watching Flossie greet Janice Wood and walk away, Jocelyn felt her heart was about to explode!
This was not the impulsive and easily irritable Flossie Wright. She was behaving more like an outrageously conceited, shameless, and irritating woman!
Meanwhile, Rowdy Brightwill and Drake Easton, who were watching from a distance, exchanged glances, both seeing confusion in each other’s eyes.
"Your fiancée is quite strange," said Drake Easton with a serious face, expressing his straightforward evaluation.
He had been Flossie’s squad leader for a while and had a fair understanding of her strength and personality. He couldn’t be certain about her strength yet, but as for her personality, her previous arrogance was blind and self-centred, whereas now she seemed much more calculated.
"Is that so?" Rowdy Brightwill raised an eyebrow, a small smile playing on his lips. "Then we’ll have a great time in the days to come."
The monotonous life in the military camp was too dull, not to mention the training of the new recruits. Now that his fiancée proved to be so interesting, he couldn’t wait.
That morning, Janice Wood, who had been worried about whether Flossie Wright would face retaliation from Jocelyn Carrington, completely lost her worries after Flossie knocked her to the ground for the tenth time.
It wasn’t until lunchtime, after being "tormented" all morning, that Janice breathed a sigh of relief.
According to the rules, the women soldiers of the second squad marched into the cafeteria upon finishing the muster song at the door. As soon as they entered, they noticed the conspicuously special table at the center.
Instructor Rowdy Brightwill and Abram Phillips were sitting at the table, which was filled with a variety of special dishes and chilled beer. To the new recruits used to the cafeteria food, these delicacies were an extravagant display of riches.
Each of them couldn’t help but sneak a few extra glances, some at the good-looking men, others at the food, their movements noticeably slowing down.
Flossie, however, didn’t look around. She was carefully selecting her own dishes, picking strictly what she considered palatable, moving calmly and unhurriedly.
She completely ignored the exploring eyes fixed on her.
"Flossie Wright!"
Just as Flossie finished serving herself, a sudden shout echoed. The abruptness startled the other recruits, who paused in their food-selection process.
Flossie straightened herself slowly, answering the call while allowing her gaze to drift towards Rowdy Brightwill.
Rowdy Brightwill, a chopstick in his hand, beckoned her over with a bright smile. "Come over. Join us."
Flossie paused and didn’t react.
The cafeteria crowd, hearing the commotion, couldn’t help but shift their attention from the delicacies, then gradually began to turn their focus to the interaction between Flossie and Rowdy Brightwill.
Had something happened that they didn’t know about?
At that moment, Jocelyn Carrington, who had just cooled down from this morning, felt the flames of anger flaring up in her heart once again.
"This is your reward for winning this morning," Rowdy Brightwill toyed with the chopstick in his hand. His tone contained a hint of intimidation. He continued, "Of course, you can also take it as an order."
It was clear what Rowdy Brightwill meant. If she willingly came over, it could be seen as a reward. But if she resisted, it would have to be a command to make her come.

Unconditionally obeying orders was a rigid rule in the forces. You couldn’t offend superiors lightly.
Flossie’s gaze turned cold. After a while, she shrugged, picked up her food and began moving towards him.
However, as she got closer to the table, she suddenly lurched forward. The food slipped from her hand and fell towards Rowdy Brightwill.
Rowdy Brightwill, who was wary of Flossie’s possible hostile behavior, had been closely watching her every move. He perceived her sudden movement was a ruse and prepared to dodge it, when he noticed Flossie stabilize her lurching foot with an effortless move, while her quickly extended fingers successfully gripped the edge of the food tray...
She had steadied it.
Rowdy Brightwill breathed a sigh of relief, but, the very next moment, he froze again.
A few drops of soup dripped on his face.
