Flossie Wright shrugged slightly and said flatly, "I don’t know."
Hutchinson and Glenn’s arrangements never revealed to the trainees; it was always one phase of training ends, and the next begins unexpectedly fast.
The content is absolutely not disclosed beforehand.
She only knew she came here, but Flossie Wright certainly didn’t know what exactly to do.
Besides, even if she knew, she wouldn’t easily divulge it.
As a soldier, confidentiality is fundamental.
Sophie Fitch nodded, unsurprised by this.
She asked just for the sake of asking.
Lowering her head, she noticed what Flossie Wright was holding, immediately said, "Hey, where do you live? Want me to take you there?"
"Building 9."
Flossie Wright held her things, not giving any indication of needing Sophie’s help.
Seeming to catch on to something, Sophie Fitch blinked and very considerately said, "I’m in Building 10, just opposite yours, let me take you there."
Flossie Wright did not refuse.
Then, Sophie Fitch smiled happily and led Flossie away.
On the way, they met a few people they knew, but basically didn’t talk or greet each other.
And Sophie Fitch, being naturally warm and enthusiastic, introduced to Flossie the campus environment and various facilities along the way.
Flossie Wright had been in both the navy and the army, and had seen all kinds of advanced equipment, but this was, after all, a campus, with many differences from the Forces, and her previous school was not a Military Academy; naturally, from Sophie’s introduction, Flossie felt the distinct campus atmosphere.
"Here we are," the chattering Sophie Fitch suddenly stopped, halting in front of the Building 9 Dormitory, pouting slightly as she looked at Flossie, still curious, she asked, "Flossie, which dorm are you in, let me take you up."
"No need." Flossie Wright looked sideways at her, speaking lightly, "Thanks for today."
"No worries, no worries."
Seeing Flossie Wright’s eyes, Sophie Fitch instinctively waved her hand.
So, only after Flossie Wright entered the Dormitory did Sophie suddenly realize she completely forgot to ask which dorm Flossie was in.
Shaking her head in frustration, Sophie Fitch pursed her lips, then walked towards the Building 10 Dormitory across the way.
They were supposed to gather in the evening, and she hadn’t eaten dinner yet, she needed to hurry.
Because she was walking with Sophie Fitch, Flossie Wright’s pace was somewhat slower.
When she arrived at Dormitory 207, Cassie Ferguson and Mariana Buck were already there.
The room’s lights were on.
Like the Dormitory at the Forces, it was a four-person room, all top bunks, with computer desks, wardrobes, and bookshelves below, all standardized.
Mariana Buck and Cassie Ferguson had both chosen their bunks, arranging their own stuff.
Mariana Buck chose the same bed as before, on the right-hand side near the balcony, and Cassie Ferguson chose Belinda Nichols’ old bed, in the first position on the left-hand side.
Flossie Wright glanced around the room and without much thought, chose one similar to her Forces Dormitory.
That spot near the window was Flossie’s favorite.
It was just next to Cassie Ferguson.
"Flossie Wright."
As Flossie put her clothes in the locker, she heard a voice behind her.
Flossie Wright turned her head to look.
"How did you get in?"
Mariana Buck, now dressed in her training uniform, stood behind her, asking, articulating each word carefully.
Squinting her eyes, Flossie Wright responded.
