If it had been in the Marine Corps, and Glenn Hutchinson brought her food, Flossie Wright would have definitely believed it.
This current situation?
Who knew how deceitful he could be.
She well remembered Joshua Bailey’s shameless antics.
Whenever they punished someone, they could spout any twisted logic, which couldn’t even be considered sophistry, but was simply utterly unreasonable.
And now, the Glenn Hutchinson before her was exactly the same type of person as Joshua Bailey.
Who could be sure he wasn’t harboring ill intentions?
"Rest well."
Glenn Hutchinson didn’t stop her, but instead, as he passed by her, he murmured a gentle reminder.
Her steps faltered slightly, and Flossie’s expression was one of mild surprise.
She didn’t linger any longer.
Flossie continued walking forward.
Glenn Hutchinson watched her leave, shifting to the side.
It seemed quite a challenging mission to trick her into falling into a pit.

Flossie returned to Dormitory 303.
Everyone had already gone to bed.
The room was pitch black, with not even a streetlight outside the window, plunging her view into complete darkness as she entered.
Flossie remembered the layout of the dormitory.
Upon entering, she took off her shoes and went straight to bed.
Her bedding, which had been drenched, was now dry and neatly laid out; it seemed Chloe Bell must have swapped their bedding at some point.
Flossie took off her coat and went directly to sleep.
Exhausted, hungry, and cold, she barely closed her eyes before easily drifting off to sleep.
However, she was a light sleeper and could vaguely hear someone entering the room, the stealthy sounds of someone making a bed.
Three in the morning.
"Beep—Beep—Beep—"
In the deep silence of the night, an abrupt whistle sounded, startling the sleeping soldiers awake.
The people in each dormitory had almost no time to react, flipping onto their feet to start dressing, putting on shoes, donning caps—organized and orderly, despite the urgency, without any panic.
This was the quality of a group of professional soldiers!
They quickly assembled downstairs, forming neat lines in the same teams as before.
Each one of them, after having some rest, looked somewhat revived, and although still very hungry, they appeared spirited and lively.
Then they looked towards the front of the formation.
Facing them, besides Joshua Bailey, stood Glenn Hutchinson, whom many of them recognized.
Both men were dressed in winter camouflage, clearly thicker than the standard for some forces, their attire attracting envious glances from many of the cadets.
"Let me formally introduce myself," Joshua Bailey took a step forward, his posture somewhat casual, hands behind his back, "My name is Joshua Bailey, the ’Bailey’ stands for land. You can call me Deputy Bailey. As for this man..."
Saying this, he lifted his hand, Joshua’s palm pointing towards Glenn Hutchinson, his tone suddenly becoming stern, "among you, many should recognize him. He is the Chief Instructor, Glenn Hutchinson, you should address him as Instructor Glenn."
After the introduction, Joshua Bailey looked slyly over at Glenn Hutchinson beside him and then respectfully stepped back.
The area cleared, leaving only Glenn Hutchinson standing there, his presence suddenly increasing manifold in that moment.
He casually took a step forward, and a weighty, frightening sense of oppression swept across everyone’s face, belonging to him, astonishing everyone while also subconsciously instilling a measure of fear and wariness.
Stopping, Glenn Hutchinson surveyed all the cadets present, his gaze inching over them—so probing that it felt like being stripped bare, none could stand it without feeling vulnerable.
"I’ll give you a heads-up," Glenn Hutchinson’s voice was low and slow, tinged with a warning, "this isn’t your old Forces, so we won’t be using the approach of your squad leaders, platoon leaders, or company commanders to accommodate you, change you, guide you. We are Instructors, not obliged to help you, only to supervise."
