Noticing Flossie Wright’s expression, Glenn Hutchinson asked rather curiously.
"Why did she tell you?" Flossie Wright squinted slightly, her demeanor growing a bit colder.
Glenn Hutchinson was momentarily stunned.
Why tell him?
Wasn’t it Perry Reed’s orders?
Facing Flossie’s sudden questioning, Glenn Hutchinson couldn’t immediately think of a suitable reason.
After a moment, Flossie continued to ask, "Do you remember her?"
"..." Glenn Hutchinson was momentarily speechless.
If guessed correctly, the "her" Flossie referred to was Ailin Miller.
And, clearly, Glenn Hutchinson didn’t remember this person.
"Year before last, during Flynn Reid’s birthday." Raising an eyebrow slightly, Flossie reminded him.
"Her?" Glenn Hutchinson began to have some recollection.
With Flossie’s reminder, coupled with his extraordinary memory, recalling such a person wasn’t a particularly difficult task.
"Her," Ray responded faintly, as Flossie poured herself a glass of water, nonchalantly adding, "It is said her Chinese name was specifically chosen for you."
"You suspect—"
Glenn Hutchinson had some understanding in his heart.
But he didn’t quite agree with the subtly emerging answer.
After taking a sip of water, Flossie toyed with the glass, "I don’t really believe in love at first sight. In fact, judging from the last interaction, I feel she should like me more."
Suddenly choked by her words, Glenn Hutchinson’s face darkened slightly.
"So, Captain Hutchinson," placing the glass steadily on the table, Flossie rubbed her chin thoughtfully, raising an eyebrow at Glenn, "what do you think she saw in you?"
To say that Ailin Miller was head over heels for Glenn Hutchinson...
Is probably a joke.
Ailin Miller deliberately provoked her, hinting at her interest in Glenn every time they met, but actually—
Honestly, how many really fall in love at first sight?
Anyway, Flossie couldn’t see any spark flaring between Ailin Miller and Glenn Hutchinson.
Perhaps, drunkenness wasn’t in the wine.
"She’s not interested in me."
Glenn Hutchinson picked up the glass of water before Flossie, sipping it unhurriedly.

"Hmm?" Flossie curled her lips.
"Flossie Wright, not everyone can hide their feelings as well as you do." Glenn Hutchinson spread his hands almost helplessly.
In fact, although Glenn wasn’t very experienced, when someone stood before him, he could discern whether they had feelings for him or not.
This insight, however, failed in front of Flossie.
When mentioning Ailin to Flossie, since he couldn’t care less, it was also because he didn’t notice any such meaning from Ailin.
Glenn Hutchinson even thought—
Her every move was nothing but her habit.
Waving his hand dispiritedly, Flossie was too lazy to continue the topic, got up, and was ready to freshen up.
Glenn Hutchinson followed behind her.
After washing up together, Flossie got into bed, while Glenn, under her warning gaze, obediently laid out bedding on the floor.
Half an hour later, the room lights dimmed.
The window wasn’t closed.
Just as Flossie closed her eyes, for some reason, she felt a gust of cold wind coming, sneaking in through the gap in the quilt, raising a shiver on the exposed skin.
She immediately opened her eyes.
