The brow twitched, and Flossie Wright hastily scanned through the notes before flipping to a blank page.
"Hey, your notes got lost."
Sandy Cruz responded indifferently, seemingly unfazed.
Lost meant lost; he had no desire for Flossie Wright to keep them safe.
Just looking at them was annoying.
Flossie Wright chuckled lightly, shaking her head, and was about to pick up her pen to listen to the lecture when she caught a glimpse of someone sitting not far behind them out of the corner of her eye.
Mariana Buck.
When their eyes met, Mariana was looking at them.
But in less than a second, she withdrew her gaze coldly.
Thinking it over, Flossie Wright leaned closer to Sandy Cruz, but as soon as she turned her head, she saw a face full of disgust.
The corner of Flossie Wright’s mouth twitched slightly.
However, quickly after, Flossie Wright moved closer again, her pen spinning between her fingers, whizzing through the air and stirring up gusts of cool breeze.
It was dazzling.
Sandy Cruz’s brow furrowed.
Flossie Wright was thoroughly enjoying herself.
For four whole hours, Flossie Wright intentionally and unintentionally annoyed Sandy Cruz to the point where he almost kicked her away.
But both of their notes were meticulously done.
At the moment the class ended, Sandy Cruz’s face was as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Flossie Wright was pulled aside by Becca Reyes.
"What exactly is going on with you and Sandy Cruz?" Becca Reyes asked, gripping her shoulder with a suspicious expression.
She couldn’t grasp Flossie Wright’s thoughts at all.
Even if Flossie Wright and Sandy Cruz had a lot in common and shared common topics, Flossie Wright and Sandy Cruz were, perhaps, a little too close for comfort during class, nearly leaning on each other.
Military discipline, military discipline!
Becca Reyes was dying to lecture her!
It was so distressing!
"It’s nothing." Flossie Wright moved her hand away.
"Didn’t the captain Hutchinson just leave?!"
"How can I not think about him?" Flossie Wright frowned.
Becca Reyes ground her teeth.
If not preoccupied with Captain Hutchinson, was she thinking about Sandy Cruz?
Didn’t she see Mariana Buck almost ready to eat someone alive!
Flossie Wright patted her shoulder, waved her hand, and prepared to head to the playground for the assembly.
Jocelyn Carrington and Belinda Nichols quickly followed.
Becca Reyes’s headache intensified.
Having been watching them for a while, Stuart Weston ran over, sidling up to Becca Reyes with a grin, "Becca, it’s time to assemble."
"Hey," Becca Reyes raised an eyebrow, nudging him with her elbow, "Can I ask you something?"
"What?" Stuart looked puzzled.
Thinking it over, Becca Reyes asked, "You and Sandy Cruz share a dormitory, right?"
Stuart began to size her up, his vigilance increasing a notch.
"Does Flossie often go to see him...?" Becca Reyes asked hesitantly.
"Yeah," Stuart breathed a sigh of relief, quickly explaining, "They have a good relationship."
"Can it develop?" Becca Reyes felt an even stronger headache coming on.
"That," Stuart shrugged, "I’m not too clear on that."
He was always too busy observing Calvin Ramos to pay attention to Flossie Wright and Sandy Cruz.
But no matter how he thought about it, Flossie Wright and Sandy Cruz didn’t seem possible.
The vibes were off.
Even though Sandy Cruz did copy notes for Flossie Wright, every time he did so, one could feel his cold aura from a distance.
"Let’s just go assemble."
Becca Reyes sighed.
She had no intention of meddling in Flossie Wright’s emotional affairs.
It’s just that she trusted Glenn Hutchinson even more, and she could always feel that whenever Flossie Wright was with Sandy Cruz, Mariana Buck’s eyes seemed even colder.
