"Is the training schedule in place?"
While engrossed in his documents, Glenn Hutchinson suddenly furrowed his brows, seemingly asking Flossie Wright in passing.
Flossie paused slightly with her chopsticks, then responded, "Hmm."
Without immediately responding, Glenn Hutchinson pulled up a document, moved his mouse a few times, and then the printer beside him started to hum. Several A4 papers were printed out in quick succession.
Standing up, Glenn Hutchinson picked up the papers and directly placed them in front of Flossie. "You will train according to this."
With a somewhat surprised frown, Flossie gave him a dubious look before picking up the papers and thoroughly scrutinizing them.
This was half of a training plan.
It was described as half because all of it was physical enhancement training, some targeting Flossie’s weak areas, and it only accounted for half of her schedule.
A very detailed plan, where time was meticulously calculated to the minute; what sort of training was to be conducted at what time, even the time for her to complete the mission was accounted for.
Upon detailed inspection, it seemed to understand her more than she did herself.
Flossie gave the papers a shake, then without any hesitation, accepted them.
Flossie knew her physical condition very well, but she could only make judgments based on her perceptions. However, she believed that Glenn Hutchinson’s plan was based on observation and specific numbers, which would be even more accurate than her intuition.
It wasn’t that Flossie was eager to accept Glenn Hutchinson’s favor, but he had provided something beneficial to her. Although the reasons behind it were somewhat questionable, it didn’t...
...matter that much.
When she got back to the cooking class, Becca Reyes was sitting on a stone bench engrossed in a book, absentmindedly snacking.
"Back so soon?" Noticing the person approaching, Becca looked up and seeing it was Flossie, her expression softened considerably. "Did you eat?"
Flossie sat down on the stone bench next to her.
"Oh," Becca Reyes didn’t doubt it and naturally nodded her head, then lifted the book in her hand, "Have you memorized everything?"
Taking the book from her hand, Flossie casually flipped through a few pages, her expression calm.
Tactical hand signals were largely similar and as she had previously been in combat, she was quite familiar with them. However, there were bound to be discrepancies. She only needed to roughly look through the book once.
Looking at her with an annoyed expression, Becca Reyes revealed a face that seemed to say "I knew it."
"Can you please stop being such a jerk?"
Snatching the book from Flossie’s hands, Becca Reyes shot her an annoyed look, then continued reading where she left off.
Flossie glanced at her military watch, then casually said, "It’s ten minutes until one o’clock."
Becca Reyes almost threw the book directly at Flossie’s head.
Again glancing at her watch, Flossie squinted at Becca, "Now it’s nine minutes."
"You really asked for it!" Becca Reyes got up, pointed at Flossie, and left a scathing remark. But after a few steps, she stopped and turned around, her gaze sweeping over, "Also, that Agnes Parker has already submitted her departure request. She’ll probably leave in a couple of days. Clara Birch probably won’t cool down so easily, so you be careful."
Nonchalantly nodding, Flossie responded, "I know."
Initially wanting to give her some more advice, but knowing Flossie’s character, Becca swallowed her words. The book in her hand was thrown towards Flossie before she strode off in the direction of the training ground.
