"Earlier, how did you pass it off to Belinda?"
Turning directly, Becca Reyes stared at her seriously and asked.
"She knows how."
Flossie Wright slowly began.
"Just because she knows how?" Becca Reyes furrowed her brows.
"Did she tell you that she knows how to play the erhu?"
Connecting it to Flossie Wright’s earlier inquiry, Becca Reyes couldn’t help but ask curiously.
"Don’t know."
"So you guessed she would?"
"What if she didn’t know how?" Taking a deep breath, Becca Reyes continued to ask.
"There’s no ’what if,’" Flossie Wright said in a light tone, her voice carrying a sense of certainty, "she knows."
"You’re driving me crazy!"
With her head feeling dizzy, Becca Reyes spoke irritably, reaching up to rub her temples.
Talking with Flossie Wright often risked getting one’s head spun.
The trouble was, often a matter that clearly made no sense would somehow seem perfectly reasonable coming from Flossie Wright.
She didn’t know if Belinda knew how, nor had she thought Belinda would know—could it be sheer luck, like a blind cat running into a dead mouse?
Impossible.
Flossie might rely on luck, but she wouldn’t do something completely uncertain.
The only possibility was—
Flossie Wright was messing with her.
Realizing this, Becca Reyes slapped her own forehead hard.
She was about to die of frustration!
"I’m begging you, tell me, how did you know?"
Kneeling before Flossie Wright, Becca Reyes put her hands together, pleading in jest.
And the skewered meat in her hands looked almost like incense sticks for ancestor worship.
It was quite funny.
Flossie Wright silently watched her for a few seconds.
"Are you going to tell me?"
Becca Reyes simply bent down, their eyes meeting in a stare-down.
"I guessed."
Rolling her eyes, Flossie Wright replied with a hint of helplessness.
"What?" Becca Reyes was surprised, "With not a single clue, what did you guess?"
"She has a book."
"Yeah, what book?" Becca Reyes listened intently.
"An erhu textbook."
Flossie Wright answered indifferently.
Becca Reyes suddenly realized.
It was clearly evident.
Tilting her head, Becca Reyes cried out "Ow," and then directly collapsed onto Flossie Wright.
Flossie Wright’s face darkened, and she quickly and neatly pushed her away.
A burst of commotion.
Becca Reyes finally settled down to sit beside her.
Curiously, the skewered meat in her hands didn’t touch a single thread of their clothes.

Eating skewered meat and chatting together.
Around ten o’clock.
Austin Shepherd, who had disappeared at some point, walked into the crowd with a basketball, wearing a spring-like smile on his face.
"Most of us are done eating, how about we play a game?"
With his fingertip spinning the basketball, Austin Shepherd scanned the group with a smiling gaze, suggesting to them.
The shouts were unanimous.
"Alright! Let me just explain the rules," said Austin Shepherd with a light chuckle, his voice gentle, "I have a basketball here for you guys to pass around. I’ll turn my back, and without seeing, I’ll randomly shout ’stop’. Whoever is touching the ball last will have to submit to a punishment. How about that?!"
"What kind of punishment?" someone in the crowd asked.
Pausing for a moment, Austin Shepherd deliberately teased, glancing at everyone before he slowly articulated, "Truth or dare."
