"Bring back some snacks."
Having said that, the two split up.
Flossie Wright spent half an hour.
Finally managed to find out Perry Reed’s role at the school.
English teacher, substitute, for one and a half months.
Perry Reed hadn’t taught a class yet, but just with his looks, he became popular across the campus in an afternoon, and that bit of information had already spread far and wide.
Although it was a bit troublesome to inquire, leveraging Flossie’s skills in "swindling and coaxing," getting this shallow information was a cinch.
After asking around, Flossie unwittingly arrived at the Stadium.
A very large Stadium.
In comparison with the Forces’ Training Ground.
The 400-meter track encircles a football field, with many training facilities nearby.
Under the roadside lights, a few classes were still training, running lap after lap on the field, with some individuals active on the 400-meter track.
To be fair, the school’s equipment was almost on par with the Forces’.
However, in terms of education, the school is decidedly better.
"Flossie Wright!"
Walking against the wind, she unexpectedly heard a shout.
Flossie pressed down her hat and turned, looking in the direction of the call.
Joshua Bailey ran down from the track, heading straight for Flossie.
"What are you doing here?"
Stopping in his tracks, Joshua Bailey took off his hat, perplexed, as he asked Flossie.
Unlike usual, he wasn’t playing the Instructor now, so he didn’t need to pretend to be stern.
Considering his previous interactions with Flossie, Joshua Bailey felt somewhat acquainted with her, so playing a role now seemed rather absurd.
"Just walking."
Flossie shrugged her shoulders.
"Oh," Joshua Bailey nodded, then pointed towards the track, "I’m warming up, want to join?"
Without much thought, Flossie promptly declined.
With so many students around, if she really ran with Joshua Bailey, there would be all sorts of rumors by tomorrow’s training.
In the dead of night, an instructor running with a trainee—it doesn’t quite add up, does it?
"Alright," Joshua Bailey spread his hands, "Go back early, got to rise early tomorrow."
"Mm," Flossie responded, her gaze shifted slightly then she asked, "Got any money?"
"..." Mentioning sensitive words, Joshua Bailey immediately eyed her suspiciously, "What do you want to do?"
"Get some snacks."

Flossie answered honestly.
She thought about it on her way, it seemed rather terrible to "mooch" food off students, but running into this willing sucker Joshua Bailey, Flossie certainly wouldn’t let it slide.
In times when money was tight, the most Flossie would ask people was always "Got any money?" Those unaware might think she had gone money-crazy.
Joshua Bailey fell silent for a moment, his gaze wandered around the vicinity, then he quietly leaned in close to Flossie.
"If the Captain finds out, he’ll beat you, but you can’t tell anyone where the money came from."
Joshua Bailey explained sneakily.
Flossie reached out her hand toward him.
With a suspicious glance, Joshua Bailey felt he was being set up, but was resigned and reluctantly pulled out some money from his pocket to hand to Flossie.
"Remember!"
As he handed the money to Flossie, Joshua Bailey warned her repeatedly.
"Remember," Flossie accepted the money and casually asked him, "Where’s your Captain?"
