That night, it was very late.
Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols returned to the tent and went straight to sleep.
Perhaps they were too tired, the two slept very deeply.
However, due to their biological clocks, they both woke up just after six.
"Are we just leaving like this?"
Following Flossie Wright out of the tent, Belinda Nichols slightly furrowed her brow, seemingly looking at her with some doubt.
"Yeah," Flossie Wright nodded, but soon paused and asked Belinda Nichols, "Are you hungry?"
"Not really."
Belinda Nichols replied honestly.
Flossie Wright chuckled.
She noticed Perry Reed hadn’t returned all night, fearing he might head to the campsite to find trouble with Glenn Hutchinson, thus wanting to rush back, but on second thought, it didn’t seem like an issue, having breakfast first wouldn’t be a problem either.
So, she casually called someone over and got a basket of steamed buns.
When they were eating steamed buns, Ice didn’t show up.
When they were ready to leave, Ice still didn’t show up.
Flossie Wright had explained everything she needed to, and Belinda Nichols didn’t seem to have anything to say, so the two didn’t actively go to meet Ice, but instead hopped on a well-fuelled off-road motorcycle and left together.
Around nine o’clock, the two finally arrived at the campsite.
The guards recognized Belinda Nichols and also recognized the epaulettes on Flossie Wright’s clothes, so this time no one stopped them and very naturally let them in.
After entering the Base, Flossie Wright suddenly thought of something and shouted towards the two guards.
"Did anyone come in this morning?" Flossie Wright asked.
The two thought for a moment, and finally one responded, "Just you two."
Flossie Wright nodded, feeling somewhat relieved.
As long as Perry Reed didn’t come, things were still manageable.
Flossie Wright had far underestimated Perry Reed.
The reason they hadn’t seen Perry Reed was merely because he hadn’t come this morning.
Walking through the campsite with Belinda Nichols, passing several places at Flossie Wright’s request, Belinda Nichols briefly introduced them, but after finishing, promptly took Flossie Wright away.
If possible, Flossie Wright estimated she would tour the entire place, but given her current physical condition, even minor bumps and scrapes could cause her significant pain.
Belinda Nichols didn’t trust her condition.
Thus, she quickly took Flossie Wright back to the lodging area.
It was an entire building, quite dilapidated, almost indistinguishable from the dormitory building during the Aaron Base selection, yet it housed nearly double the number of people as before.
"You’re back."
Just reaching the entrance of the building, they saw Joshua Bailey walking towards them.
There was a slight smile on his face, but it seemed somewhat stiff.
Shooting him a glance, Flossie Wright directly asked, "Where is Glenn Hutchinson?"
"Uh." Joshua Bailey’s smile grew even more rigid.
Flossie Wright slightly raised her eyebrow, a glint of inquiry flashed in her eyes.
Helplessly, Joshua Bailey shrugged his shoulders and truthfully replied, "In the temporary conference room on the second floor."
"What are they discussing?" Flossie Wright’s expression became slightly more serious, her brow furrowed.
"Should be done soon."
Without directly answering Flossie Wright’s question, Joshua Bailey diverted to another topic.
"What are they discussing?" Flossie Wright repeated word by word.
Joshua Bailey clearly was hiding something from her.
