But she couldn’t show it.
Their Captain of the Veteran Soldiers was equally not to be provoked.
Having no choice, the Veteran Soldiers could only grit their teeth and turn to Andreas Ruiz, their expression stiff, yet their words sincere enough, "Sorry."
"It’s fine, it’s fine."
Andreas Ruiz squeezed out a smile immediately.
The arrival of the two Captains really scared them, and if they continued to be unrelenting now, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Is that enough?"
Seeing this, Jessie Grain asked Flossie Wright with a smile full of goodwill.
Flossie Wright lifted a faint smile, "It is."
"You go change your clothes first to avoid catching a cold." Jessie Grain, speaking thus, glanced around with a gentle smile, "Everyone else can disperse now."
Upon hearing this, the onlookers scattered like birds.
Flossie Wright didn’t delay either, taking her basin from Becca Reyes and heading straight for Dormitory 105.
Becca Reyes followed closely behind.
"You have other clothes, go find them and change. I’ll hang your clothes to dry," Becca Reyes forcefully took Flossie Wright’s basin, turned away, and then muttered to herself, "I hope there’s no emergency assembly tonight."
Flossie Wright said nothing else.
She went inside, to the closet, to grab her clothes.
Only Jocelyn Carrington was in the Dormitory.
Belinda Nichols and Mariana Buck had gone to take showers, Jocelyn Carrington had returned first, heard some noise outside, but was too lazy to go out. Now, seeing Flossie Wright come back in such a state, naturally, she was quite surprised.
"What happened to you?"
Walking over, Jocelyn Carrington asked.
"It’s nothing."
Having taken some fresh clothes, Flossie Wright replied indifferently.
Jocelyn Carrington began, but before she could finish, Flossie Wright interrupted her, "You turn around."
"Huh?" Jocelyn Carrington was puzzled.
"I’m changing my clothes."
Embarrassed, Jocelyn Carrington turned around and also closed the door for her.
It took less than two minutes for Flossie Wright to change her clothes.
"You can turn back now."
Glancing at Jocelyn Carrington’s back turned to her, Flossie Wright couldn’t help wanting to laugh, as she reminded her.
Reacting instinctively, Jocelyn Carrington turned around.
But as she turned her head, she caught a glimpse of Flossie Wright’s silhouette and was unexpectedly stunned for a moment.
Having shed her training uniform, and dressing more loosely for comfort during sleep, Flossie Wright had put on a white long-sleeve shirt and black sports pants, which, contrasting her lean and tall figure, gave off a very different casual vibe.
Unexpectedly pleasing to the eye.
Suddenly, Becca Reyes pushed the door open.
Searching for Flossie Wright instinctively, after a few looks, she teased her with raised eyebrows, "Hey, looking sharp."
Looking over lazily, Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow, "Help me with the medicine."
Becca Reyes agreed immediately.
But before tending to Flossie Wright’s wounds, she helped dry her hair first.
Applying the medicine took some time.
Jocelyn Carrington looked on for a bit, saw the bruises on Flossie Wright’s back, and suddenly felt a chill down her spine, causing goosebumps all over her body.
That Mariana Buck really had hit too hard.
Fate seemed to look after Flossie Wright.
That night, there was no emergency assembly.
Everything hurt as she lay down, and she fell asleep only due to exhaustion, but around four o’clock in the morning, Flossie Wright woke up in pain, unable to sleep.
Upon waking, her head was groggy, and Flossie Wright had a bad feeling. When she touched her forehead, it was indeed burning hot.
Propping herself up, she searched the closet for Cold Medicine and swallowed it with the warm water from the hot water bottle.
