"Who are you?"
The man spoke, his voice deep and fraught with extreme danger.
"A passerby," Flossie Wright answered calmly.
Instantly, the man’s eyes narrowed, scrutinizing Flossie with suspicion.
This woman was indeed very strange.
Among the people they were pursuing, there were certainly no women, so her exclusion was clear, but other possibilities could not be ruled out.
She could be with the soldiers.
She was not afraid of them.
She was very dangerous.
Every move she made was poised and confident.
"Don’t believe?"
With a slight raise of her eyebrow, Flossie asked leisurely.
The man stared at her, without responding.
Belief or disbelief was irrelevant to him.
As long as she posed no threat to his side, she could only be a passing bystander.
Flossie stood up, her expression slightly lazy, but her hand reached into the pocket of her jeans.
At the same moment, the people seated at the surrounding tables all stood up in unison.
Their eyes, akin to leopards stalking prey, looked at her almost menacingly, while hidden deep within those eyes was a hint of vigilance.
Except for the man opposite her, all others very clearly felt the danger this woman posed.
She exuded calm with every gesture, her clear eyes under a lazy demeanor conveying she’d already appraised them, and they wouldn’t be surprised at all.
Hence, under immense vigilance, the slightest rustle sent them into a panic.
"What’s wrong?" Flossie’s smile grew wider, she placed her left hand into her pocket and slightly lifted her cap with her right hand, a slight interest glimmering in her eyes, as she raised her voice to ask, "Looking for a fight?"
The beggars had long gone, leaving only Flossie and this group of mysterious people.
Nigel Ferguson and Margaret watched from the kitchen.
Even the two of them could feel that the atmosphere in the Tea House had become much more tense.
Layer upon layer of pressure surged like waves, pressing down so heavily that it was hard for anyone to breathe.
The atmosphere was tense, ready to erupt at any moment.

Yet, Nigel could also sense that Flossie was not intimidated; instead, she seemed quite interested.
"Sit down."
The man coldly swept a glance over those people.
His voice wasn’t loud, but the tone was exceedingly steady, each word full of authority.
The group exchanged looks before obediently sitting down.
Flossie shrugged, a bit bored.
It had been a week since she’d engaged in any activity, and seeing this group, she was quite tempted to provoke them a bit.
However, since it was the shop owned by a friend’s girlfriend, she, as a passerby, should try not to cause them trouble.
After a pause, she pulled out some change from her pocket and placed it on the table.
Every movement was captured by their watchful eyes.
Flossie offered a friendly smile to the man, raised her eyebrows, and turned to leave.
The motion was carefree and unrestrained.
Her figure was extremely striking under the blazing sun.
And, every person, only after seeing her truly leave, couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
Never had they seen a woman with such presence...
Well, well.
Really didn’t know where she had come from.
Leaving under the scorching sun.
Flossie continued to wander the street for a while.
She originally wanted to visit her childhood martial arts master, but upon reaching that street, she turned back and instead strolled through some familiar streets.
Ten years ago, her master was already ninety; if he lived till now, it would be a stroke of fortune; if he really...
