"No need; people like them don’t change their minds easily." Daisy Deacon clapped her hands, crossed her arms, and then gave the leader a sly smile, "Might as well kill them off."
Daisy’s face remained unbelievably calm after saying this with a cheerful demeanor.
The leader looked at her suspiciously.
According to intelligence, Daisy Deacon was supposed to have stayed with the Mercenary Corps Anonymous for a period of time.
His questions were merely orders given by the Red Revolutionary Army to test Daisy. Deep down, he believed Daisy wasn’t truly cold-hearted.
Could it be that she has really broken ties?
Is Daisy’s allegiance genuine?
Thinking this, the leader felt somewhat relieved.
"There might be a chance for negotiation," the leader said meaningfully, "Not all of them want to die."
"Are you leaving your brain at home?" Daisy glanced at him with disdain, not hiding the contempt in her expression, "They could pretend to surrender."
The leader was immediately left speechless.
He was simply testing Daisy, regardless of the outcome; Anonymous must not leave this city alive!
They cannot trust the Mercenary Corps, moreover, according to intel, Anonymous had also made contact with the Peacekeeping Forces.
This meeting was a trap. If they could retain them, then great, they would become a great aid, but anyone choosing to leave, regardless of their strength or whether they would leak intel, must be entirely eliminated!

Leaving this time was naturally expected to involve an ambush.
That’s why Ice brought two armored vehicles; the people in one vehicle went to the pub, while the people in the other vehicle were in the back, waiting in ambush.
However, considering the underhanded and shameless Mercenary Corps like Bailey Maynard, after hooking up with the equally shameless Red Revolutionary Army, Flossie found it hard to believe they would really let them go just like that. Hiding a strike team was more in line with their style.

"Gavin," Ice said, changing the subject, pausing between every word, "may show up today."
"Hmm?" Flossie’s eyes narrowed.
"He’s after you," Ice added chillingly.

"So," pausing slightly, Ice didn’t specify why but advised, "Keep your sniper rifle ready, and stay out of sight."
After a slight hesitation, Flossie responded, "Okay."
In the past three months, although Flossie had been secretly opposing Bailey Maynard, it was partly because she was petty and shared common goals with Anonymous. Besides, from her understanding of Gavin, he wouldn’t let her off easily. That’s why she was planning to strike first.
