It fell upon the ear, cold to the marrow.
This was his dignity as an instructor.
At the sound of his voice, those low rising whispers in the vicinity all disappeared in an instant, leaving not a single sound to be heard.
Mariana Buck raised her voice.
Glenn Hutchinson cast a cold glance at Mariana Buck.
"Negative!"
Composed, Mariana Buck firmly responded.
"That’s right, negative."
Glenn Hutchinson repeated each word emphatically.
Unexpectedly, his thin lips slowly curled into a slight smile, but to the others, it was inexplicably bone-chilling.
"Joshua Bailey!"
Glenn Hutchinson called out sharply.
Taking a step forward, Joshua Bailey immediately responded.
"As a trainee, you initiated a brawl. What should the punishment be?"
Glenn Hutchinson asked slowly, without turning back, his gaze sweeping over and fixing on the three women whose expressions didn’t change.
They were prepared to be punished.
Since they had already done the deed, begging for mercy was useless; they could only wait for Glenn Hutchinson’s discipline.
"Confinement in the small dark room for a week!"
Joshua Bailey quickly answered.
Before this group of trainees had arrived, those who were instructors had discussed how to handle any potential incidents.
Brawling was never in short supply, it was just about imposing a symbolic punishment.
But for severe cases, they would be severely confined for several days.
If untrained and placed in the dark room at random, that would be a tremendous torment.
Glenn Hutchinson responded coolly.
Those standing had a sudden ominous premonition.
Confinement in the dark room...
This was not a comfortable punishment.
"Confinement wastes time," Glenn Hutchinson said in a steady voice, and after sweeping a glance at them, he abruptly changed the subject, "Better to punish by making you stand."
Flossie Wright, who had been standing still until now, twitched her eyebrows the moment she heard his casual words.
Punishment by standing?
In this weather?
If she remembered correctly, Devina Millet had stood for two hours and nearly lost half her life.
"How long?"
Joshua Bailey quickly interjected.
"Six hours." Glenn Hutchinson’s words left no room for rebuttal.
Joshua Bailey was suddenly stunned.
This number was indeed beyond his expectations.
When he punished Devina Millet, it was only for two hours, and after some time, even she was afraid it might actually harm someone.
After all, these people still needed to be trained.
Glenn Hutchinson’s opening demand of "six hours" was perhaps a bit too harsh.
Right then, Flossie Wright’s voice, firm and strong, rang out.
Glenn Hutchinson tilted his head slightly and looked at her coolly, "Speak!"

"May I plead for leniency?" Flossie Wright asked steadily, her voice cold as she faced Glenn Hutchinson.
"You may not!" Glenn decisively negated.
"May I share the punishment?" Flossie asked again.
"You may not!"
It was the same answer, without deviation.
After a brief pause, Flossie Wright’s eyes slightly colder, she asked again, "Is it allowed for those not being punished to stay awake?"
"It is allowed."
Without hesitation, Glenn Hutchinson answered her directly.
"Is it permissible to light a fire within the Base?" Flossie Wright continued in the same tone.
"Are you planning to burn down a building?"
Glenn Hutchinson asked coldly in return.
