On the ground besides Grady Wright, there was another little boy, considerably smaller. He looked to be around four or five years old, impeccably clean, with a delicate face that was particularly adorable. When he fell to the ground, he merely scowled, then silently got up as if he were a little adult, dusting off his knees. Next, he went to retrieve his duckbill cap that had fallen on the ground.

However, before his tiny hand could reach the duckbill cap, Grady Wright suddenly sat up from the ground. He extended one leg and pinned the cap underneath his thigh.
"Humph! Apologize to me now!"
Sitting imperiously on the ground, Grady Wright showed an angry face and scolded the sensible little boy.
The shop assistant, who was originally intending to help the boys, was momentarily stunned and didn’t know how to handle this situation. In her distress, she subconsciously glanced towards Flossie Wright, her eyes pleading for help.
Since the sitting boy referred to the woman as "sister", the two were likely siblings. At such a time, as long as one does not excessively spoil their younger brother, they would clearly understand right from wrong, and be most suited to handle this situation.
To her disappointment, Flossie Wright did not seem to notice her gaze. Instead, her attention was on the two quarrelling children, appearing deep in thought.
Meanwhile, the little boy, who had stopped reaching for his duckbill cap, straightened his back and looked calmly at Grady Wright. Even when faced with a boy twice his size, he showed no fear.
The little boy’s voice was extraordinarily calm, like a final warning. He was in no way flustered by being bullied.
"You bumped into me and won’t apologize, so I won’t get up!" Grady Wright began to play the rascal. He rocked his body and grabbed the duckbill cap under him. Waving it in front of the little boy as if to brag, Grady Wright made a face. "If you’re capable, come and take it from me!"
As soon as Grady Wright finished speaking, the little boy clenched his fists. While Grady Wright was busy showing off the cap, the smaller boy abruptly swung a punch at Grady Wright’s face. Grady Wright, caught off-guard, was stunned for a moment, unable to react.
A four or five-year-old child, no matter how assertive, simply lacks strength. Even though the punch landed, it was so weak that it barely hurt. After being hit, Grady Wright watched in shock as the cap was snatched from his hand by the little boy. Instantly enraged, he stomped on the ground and, as soon as he stood up, lunged at the little boy again—
"Let go of me!"
Before Grady could get any closer, he was suddenly hoisted into the air. Flossie Wright, who had been standing by watching the commotion, had come over at some point. She had grabbed the collar of his shirt from the back and lifted his entire body. The sudden feeling of suffocation made Grady struggle and flail about.
Before he had a chance to struggle for long, Flossie moved him roughly two meters away. Finally released, he gasped for breath. However, he was confronted with Flossie’s icy gaze.
Subconsciously clutching at his own collar, Grady guiltily glanced at Flossie. He was terrified.
Flossie simply looked at him, not saying anything or telling him to do anything.
After hesitating for some time, Grady carefully approached the little boy, who had put on his duckbill cap. In a voice barely louder than a mosquito’s hum, he said, "So, sorry."
The little boy just stood there, his clear, dark eyes glancing at him a few times. He then answered in an infuriatingly nonchalant manner —
This disinterested response had Grady, who rarely apologized to anyone, almost stamping his feet in frustration. However, with the towering figure restraining him, he dared not act rashly. He carefully observed Flossie Wright’s face and, seeing that she didn’t seem to be escalating matters, cautiously moved towards his own basketball. In the final second before he grabbed the basketball and ran off, all his nerves were highly strung. He did not dare look back until he was a good distance away.
That was terrifying!
The shop assistant watched the entire event unfold, unsure about how she should feel. She had initially thought that the female customer would side with her brother, but was surprised when things took an unexpected turn. The woman had directly taken her brother away, leaving him trembling with fear without uttering a word, as if she were a formidable beast, making it hard to figure her out.
Suddenly, the little boy walked up to Flossie Wright, reaching for the hem of her knitted shirt.
Flossie Wright, whose attention was on the pile of clothes, looked down unconsciously when she felt a tug. She glanced at the little boy, who barely reached her knees, with a rather puzzled look.
"What are you doing?"
Flossie Wright cast a disgruntled look at the small hand clutching her shirt, but eventually did not pull him away.
The little boy looked up, his bright and clear eyes twinkling innocently. However, his voice had a tinge of wariness, "Sister, could you help me with something?"
Furrowing her brows slightly, Flossie examined his delicate face in detail. The aloof expression in her eyes gradually softened. She reached out and placed her hand on his cap-covered head, speaking leisurely, "Alright, help me pick out a jacket first."
It had been a long time since Flossie had visited a shopping mall. She was not familiar with the current popular styles and brands. Of course, choosing clothes wasn’t difficult, but she did occasionally have the urge to find something to her liking.
Now that this little rascal had intruded, she figured she might as well put him to work.
The little boy carefully scanned her from head to toe. His adorable face soon took on a thoughtful expression. His eyes swept over all the clothes in the vicinity, then he pointed in a certain direction, "That one."
