Perry Reed.
His attire was different from usual.
He was in a suit and tie, dressed in all black, exuding a mature yet devilish aura, combined with a face as handsome as a deity. Wherever he went, many students would turn their heads to look, filled with curiosity.
The moment Flossie Wright saw him, she felt her scalp tingle.
"Do you want to go in?"
Approaching her, Perry Reed stopped in his tracks and directly asked her.
"What are you doing here?"
Staring fixedly at him, Flossie Wright frowned and asked.
Standing nonchalantly, Perry Reed looked her up and down with a lazy voice, "Part-time job."
At the Military Academy—
Part-time job?
"Part-time at what?" Flossie Wright pressed further.
"This," after a slight pause, Perry Reed curled his lips, stepped forward, and casually draped an arm over her shoulder, "You don’t need to know."
"At the Military Academy, is this allowed?"
Raising an eyebrow, Flossie Wright shifted her gaze to his hand.
"Nope." Perry Reed’s smile remained, "We’re outside the Academy."
"Perry, Reed."
One syllable at a time, Flossie Wright called out his name, her gaze gradually darkening.
Usually, whenever Perry Reed showed up at training sites, Flossie Wright always felt uneasy. Now, Perry Reed, the fearless one, outright barged into the Military Academy.
Who knows what kind of trouble he might stir up?
Perry Reed’s nature wasn’t unknown to her, doing everything according to his whims.
But if his background were truly unearthed—
Instinctively furrowing her brows, Flossie Wright’s eyes shadowed even more.
In fact, there wasn’t even a need to unearth his background; as long as he crossed paths with Glenn Hutchinson, his identity would be completely exposed.
"Didn’t you want to go in?"
Perry Reed changed the subject and asked.
He wasn’t planning to answer Flossie Wright’s question directly.
"I don’t want to."
Her expression cool and indifferent, Flossie Wright replied coldly.
Suddenly, Perry Reed chuckled, curling his lips into a smile.
Flossie Wright sideways glanced at him.
His enigmatic gaze landed on Flossie Wright, and Perry Reed asked in a bizarre tone, "Even the ice queen has a tantrum?"
Flossie Wright’s expression changed slightly, her thin lips pressed into a straight line.
An indescribable emotion flashed through her eyes as Flossie Wright gently furrowed her brows but couldn’t find any words to retort.
After a moment, her expression returned to its calm demeanor.
Raising her eyes slightly, Flossie Wright subtly glanced at him, "Sir, let’s go."
Perry Reed curled his lips.
Released her.
Led her towards the school gate.
While following Perry Reed’s lead, Flossie Wright diverted some of her attention to observe the surroundings.
During this time, most cadets had likely arrived. At least, she swept her gaze and noticed no less than ten familiar cadets at the gate, all looking distressed and contemplating.
And she, with Perry Reed as her "teacher," easily followed him through the gate.
"You can leave now."
Just after walking ten meters, Flossie Wright issued a dismissal order to Perry Reed.
A classic case of burning the bridge after crossing.
"What’s the rush."
Perry Reed spoke unhurriedly, lightly raising an eyebrow.
Then he turned around, slightly raising his eyes, looking towards the approaching figure ahead.
The other person was in an army uniform, with two bars and three stars on the epaulettes, steadily walking towards them.
