This is exactly their Eastlandian soldier.
Flossie Wright had been to the recruit camp, been to the cooking class, served as a Frogman, and joined the special forces. All her experiences were so real, and now as she stood here, in a place filled with war and crisis, looking at this group of positive and sunny soldiers, she didn’t feel any sense of strangeness.
More familiar than at Anonymous.
She watched for a good while, until the morning exercise was about to end, before Flossie Wright snapped back to reality, turned around, intending to go out to get some breakfast.
But before taking two steps, she heard the door creak open. Following that, Perry Reed, dressed in a long coat, swaggered in.
Flossie Wright raised her eyebrow at him.
After giving him a sidelong glance, Perry Reed raised his hand and tossed the bag filled with breakfast over to her.
Flossie Wright caught it with her hand.
Upon opening the bag and catching sight of the steamed buns inside, Flossie casually thanked Perry Reed.
Without any formality, as soon as she opened the bag, Flossie sat down by the table, grabbed a steamed bun and prepared to eat.
Perry Reed sat down across from her, conveniently pouring her a glass of water.
"Eat slowly."
As he pushed the glass of water over, Perry Reed disdainfully reminded her.
Gobbling down a steamed bun in a few bites—what else could it be if not like a starving ghost reborn?

"I’m used to it."
Taking the glass, Flossie downed the water in one go.
During training in the forces, eating was essentially a waste of time; only by eating quickly could you snatch some time to rest. Although Flossie wasn’t wolfing things down, she wasn’t exactly a slow eater either.
Perry Reed maintained a cold face, saying nothing.
In his view, the forces were no different from a refugee camp; not only were they strict, they exploited and squeezed them in every possible way.
"That Ailin Miller of yours..."
Slowing down appropriately, Flossie Wright brought up the topic, starting to speak.
"What?" Perry Reed mechanically picked up the conversation, pouring her another glass of water.
"When is she leaving?" Flossie Wright asked.
"Why does she have to leave?"
Raising an eyebrow, Perry Reed retorted.
Flossie Wright furrowed her brow, giving Perry Reed a couple of glances, barely noticeable.
Perry Reed remained calm, meeting her gaze.
After a moment, Flossie shifted away from the topic, not pursuing it further.
In this matter, Flossie had no reason to press aggressively, so she dropped it.
It’s just—
She really didn’t like Ailin Miller.
That woman wasn’t very reassuring.
After quickly finishing her breakfast, Flossie stood up, intending to go downstairs and take a look.
However, just as she stepped out, she saw Perry Reed following her.
"Got something else?" Stopping in her tracks, Flossie raised an eyebrow at him.
"Bored," Perry Reed lazily raised his eyelids, speaking with a straight face, "thought I’d take a walk with you."
"..." With a twitch of her mouth, Flossie said, "I don’t have time."
"I have time."
Perry Reed spoke as a matter of course.
Busy wrapping things up yesterday, today he happened to be free, with nothing on his plate. Anyway, as Flossie needed to recover, she wouldn’t have too many things going on. The irritable and petty Perry decided he’d just follow Flossie for distraction.
Hmm, and to annoy Glenn Hutchinson on the side.
Pausing, Flossie asked, "Where’s my God?"
"..." Pausing for a moment, Perry Reed gave her a sidelong glance, "Just think about it."
Flossie shrugged her shoulders with boredom.
Headed downstairs.
Perry Reed followed alongside her the whole time.
Out of the corner of her eye, she could always see this figure.
Finding it insufferable, Flossie looked around and pulled Willie Ash over.
"What’s up, anything you need?"
Willie Ash, carrying a box of rice, ran over to her.
"Is there anything I can help with?" Flossie asked.
Thinking for a moment, giving Flossie a few glances, Willie Ash had a sudden inspiration and immediately said, "Oh, Sandy Cruz is planting vegetables, you could probably help."
"Hmm." Flossie nodded.
Under Perry Reed’s cold gaze, Willie Ash quickly and nimbly slipped away.
"Want to join?" Clapping her hands, Flossie warmly invited Perry Reed.
Throwing her a cold look, Perry Reed turned and walked away.
Planting vegetables?
He feared that at the sight of Flossie planting vegetables, he’d end up blowing up the Vegetable Field with a bomb.
