Might as well use this as an excuse to clear the rumors about Janice Wood.
After all, it’s not really a big deal.
"Huh?" Janice looked up, startled.
"Surprised?" Flossie Wright raised her brows with interest.
"Yeah," Janice nodded, but after thinking for a moment, she added, "But it’s fine, I still think Captain Hutchinson suits you better."
Flossie Wright’s eyebrows moved slightly.
"It’s just," Janice scratched her head, unable to explain clearly, and had to say vaguely, "I feel that way."
Flossie Wright shrugged her shoulders, not continuing to ask.
Because of the three girls, they were delayed for a while, and it was already past 5:20.
Flossie Wright didn’t want to delay any further, so she went to the cafeteria with Janice.
After eating, Janice personally delivered a bag of medicine to her dormitory door before saying goodbye.
Flossie Wright returned to the dormitory at 6:30 in the evening.
At this time, the other three were already present in the dormitory.
However, just this was quite surprising.
Logically, unless the training ended early, they would return to the dormitory; otherwise, they would usually go straight to the classroom with their notebooks right after training.
Especially since all three were gathered together.
"Flossie Wright, you’re just in time."
As soon as she caught sight of Flossie Wright, Jo Gold spoke to her.
Flossie Wright frowned slightly and walked straight to her.
"Draw a lot."
Jo Gold said directly, handing a bamboo tube to her.
Glancing at her, Flossie Wright slightly lowered her head and looked at the bamboo tube in her hand.
It was filled with bamboo sticks, probably twenty or thirty in total.
Indeed, it was the setup for drawing lots.
Flossie Wright slightly shifted her gaze, looked at Cassie Ferguson and Mariana Buck, and after noticing the bamboo sticks in their hands, she didn’t hesitate and reached into the tube to draw a bamboo stick.
The stick was exquisite, with the words "Captain" written near the top, along with a ③ mark.
Flossie Wright raised her brows lightly and instinctively glanced at Jo Gold.
"There’s a dragon boat race tomorrow morning, and Deputy Officer Lu wants us to form groups and select a leader." Jo Gold explained.
Flossie Wright shrugged her shoulders.
"Cassie Ferguson is the leader of group four."
As Flossie Wright seemed indifferent and ready to leave, Jo Gold added another line unhurriedly.
Flossie Wright paused slightly, not even turning to look, yet she could feel a gust of cold air coming from Cassie’s direction.
She responded casually, without bothering to turn around.
She walked straight to her desk and tossed the bamboo stick on it.
Then, she pulled out a chair, ready to check her notes with her notebook.
Meanwhile, Cassie Ferguson and Mariana Buck each went their own ways.
Cassie walked out the door, while Mariana sat down.
Jo Gold approached Flossie’s side.
"In tomorrow’s race, team members will lose three points, and the captain will lose five. You have five team members; I’ll give you the list later. I hope you can discuss it with them."
Standing beside her, Jo Gold looked down at Flossie Wright and said seriously.
However, compared to her, Flossie Wright didn’t seem to be taking it seriously.
Turning slightly, Flossie Wright rested her elbow on the chair, glancing at Jo Gold with a side-eye.
"Did you say the same thing to Cassie?" Raising her brows, Flossie Wright smiled at the corner of her lips.
"No," Jo Gold denied.
